Fantastic belt! Great quality leather, and the ratchet buckle seems well made. Unlike traditional hole-punched belts, you are never bending this one back to take it on or off, which is where my belts have always gotten so worn out, within a few months. This one you can take on and off without stressing the leather and the bend point, and you can get the exact fit you want, the clicks are very small and precise. You can even discreetly make small adjustments during your day. I just bought my dad a brown and a black set for his birthday after enjoying mine, cant imagine going back to a traditional belt with holes. Five stars all the way for these Bulliants, and a great price to boot.

Fit and finish looks nice. The leather is thin and after one use had already stretched in some areas. The mechanism is neat and seams to work well. Would not pay $20 for it again. Update: I’ve worn the belt a few times now (2-3 days). The belt is already stretched. The finish stays in good shape because the ratchet style buckle does not tear it up. The buckle mechanism is super easy to use, and the belt looks and feels nice during use. Long term I do not think the leather will last. Update: had the belt for 3 months now and use 3-4 days a week. It is comfortable and the ratchet system works well. Belt has molded to my waist line - unfortunately - so the leather could have been a little tougher. No notice of discoloration.

Attractive looking ratchet style belt.. This is the first ratchet style belt I have ever tried and I like it. The ratchet appears to hold well and release easily (once I find the release. Appears to be of good quality and was true to size. Debating with myself whether to cut it down an inch or two but (unfortunately) not really necessary but may do so just to try it. After using it for one day, I would recommend it. Only time will tell as to its durability.

I got this belt because I was tired of my belt holes stretching out on my other belts. I dont thing this one will have that problem. I got the cut to fit size and it was easy to figure out where to cut as there are marks on the back side of the belt to help gauge length. I got a little worried when I put on the belt at first because I couldnt figure out how to loosen it once it was tightened. I finally figured out there is a little lever that has to be depressed to loosen the belt. No direction were included, and I didnt try to figure it out before I put it on. My mistake. I cant tell you anything about how this belt stands the test of time yet. I do worry how long the springs will last on the ratchet action. But so far so good. The belt is an attractive design that can be used in many situations from dress to work. Im over all pleased with my purchase.

I bought both a brown and a black, and so far they seem great. I would like for the release to be on the top (if the belt is ending to your left), but I quickly got used to the release being on the bottom. With the release on the bottom, the top edge of the buckle is not the most attractive, but not at all ugly. The buckle is a little larger than I want, but that is probably due to the mechanism, which works very well. I love the almost infinite adjustability of the belt. Just ignore the numbers on the back for sizing and cut to what you need. The same numbers on the two belts were about 2" apart. Older, conventional belts pull and distort over time due to the strain of the buckle, but these should not and should look really good throughout their life. As long as the buckle mechanism holds up as expected, this is going to be a great belt!
