Update: 1/27/18: had the belt over a week. Just measured it and this belt is not 1 3/8” wide. It’s maybe 1.19 inches wide. That has made me lower the score considerably. Also color changed from the orange tanning color it came in and began to turn dark black. So it looks more like the phot which is I guess a plus. . The buckle and tightening system is genius. The only problem I have with the belt is that the color of the leather I received doesn’t even come close to the light brown I received. I order what appears to be a nice rich dark brown and end up receiving some very light slightly orange brown.

* * This ought to receive Amazons Full Attention. This belt is listed by the seller as all Genuine Leather. Upon receiving and evaluating, reading the embossed description I was totally dismayed. It is a Chinese lower quality simulated grain leather bonded to leather material. ,,,, What exactly this translates to is appauling. This is a synthetic leatherish manmade thin layer of something bonded to a strap of compressed leather trims left over. Obviously the feel is cheap and the appearance is embarrassingly cheaper. Amazon is full of sellers selling genuine top grain leather upper layer bonded to all leather bottom layer, and for less than this cheap thing is sold for! Highly not recommended for anything over $6.00 bucks. ,,,, I paid $20.00 for this concoction. It is going back in the same shipping material without even as much as bothering to try it on. * *

I love this thing. Imade a mistake and ordered one that is too big for me, but instead of returning it Im just gonna give this one to my dad and order the right sized one for myself. The way this belt works is quite literally the way a zip tie works, it can be adjusted to your exact size within a specified range, so make sure you order according to your waist size. Its great, if you want the belt a little tighter you just pull it until you are comfortable. There is a small release button to loosen or remove the belt. Great for concealed carry. 2 thumbs up, I will definetly be ordering a few more.

I LOVE the ratcheting mechanism & cut to size. I HATE the fact that I was LIED to. Your website says, and I quote, "Material: Genuine Leather; soft and durable" but the BELT says, "Leather with SIMULATED grain covering" (See pic). Its all the way @the end where Ucut and hard 2C. It wasnt until after I ordered and cut my 2nd & 3rd belt(MY first was cut by my son 4himself) that I saw it @the end. It shudB ALL Leather.

I will give it four stars now because it looks like a quality belt out of the box. If it holds up I will give it a fifth star. I bought the 42-48 to make sure I had plenty of length to work with. I have a 40 waist and I ended up cutting it down to the first mark past 40 which leaves about 5 1/4" of belt extending past the buckle when wearing. I also put a dab of super glue on the stitching at the cut to keep it from unraveling.
