Great Belt. Only one I ever had that fits comfortably as it is not dependent on the difference between the buckle holes. Micro adjusts , so even when you have a full meal, open and/or close as needed. Adjusting the size of the belt out of the box is easy - undo clip, cut at line on belt, reattach, then redo the clip. Since its new have not had a good idea of how long the belt lasts, but its inexpensive enough to buy more.

I liked the ease of setup (cutting, clamping). It took only a minute or so and I was wearing it. Its comfortable and simple. I like the ratcheting system A LOT. I only give it four stars because I think the claim that it is "genuine leather" is highly doubtful unless they harvested it vinyl cows. I will be surprised if the strap holds up without blemishing for a whole year, but well see. Im not going to complain too much, though, because its affordable and a replacement strap is very affordable to replace. Also, the color of the "leather" is a bit lighter than whats advertised.

I absolutely love this belt! Its well made, priced right, comfortable and so simple to put on, take off and adjust. I was worried about the integrity of the buckles attachment to the strap but I havent had any issues; the clasp that closes on the strap has teeth that dig into the leather and make it virtually impossible to pull off. I did make two mistakes when I received the belt that I 100% own up to. 1) I did not measure before cutting the strap. I cut based on my waist size but that left barely any belt to slip through the buckle. I had enough for the buckle to grab the first couple teeth on the strap, and thankfully Im losing weight so it isnt a problem. The moral: Measure before you cut! 2) I cut it slightly crooked. If you cut it crooked, the strap will want to "seat" against the back of the channel where it inserts into the buckle. Its more than aesthetic though, I discovered yesterday that if the buckle is crooked, it impacts the way the ratchet engages and, more importantly, releases. If you cut it crooked, re-cut it so its straight. I will be doing so tonight. Overall, Im very pleased with this belt. I wish Bulliant sold straps alone; Id love to move this buckle over to a brown belt...

I have to admit, I honestly have no idea how to buy a properly-sized belt. If I buy one for my waist size, its too small. If I buy one bigger than my pants size, its too big. I purchased this belt too big - but it JUST DIDNT MATTER! Following the simple instructions, I trimmed my own belt to the perfect size, and now I feel not only sartorially complete, but better educated, as well. Not to mention, I get my Leather working Badge from the Scouts now. Buy this belt, seriously.

I love slide style belts; they are never too tight, or too loose. And of course, adjustments can be made on the fly, without undoing the belt as with conventional belts. This is a very good belt with a great price. I have bought much more expensive brands of slide belts, and the quality of this manufacturer is as good, if not better than those other brands. The quality of the leather is nice, and the finish on belt buckle is good as well. The product also comes in an attractive and sturdy gift box. Trimming the leather belt for your approximate waist size is very easy with a pair of scissors. (I always add 1 or 2 inches to my actual size.) The back of the belt is embossed with waist sizes, which takes the guess work out of shortening the belt (if necessary). I will be buying more of these!
