BOSTANTEN Men's Leather Ratchet Dress Belt with Automatic Sliding Buckle

I love this belt. My other belts quickly felt worn around the hole where I tightened it (maybe I need to spend more money on belts). This one is so simple and works incredibly well. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to loosen it. One of the tricks is to slightly pull it tighter as you pull up on the release lever. Now its so simple and quick. The other end is able to come off - this would allow you to refasten it at a smaller size if you ever wanted to. I think it looks good. It feels great. Its easy. Im all in. From now on, Ill be buying ratchet belts.

Ordered this after a good experience with the black buckle (and recently ordering two more). Big mistake on the silver buckle. Although release worked fine when not on, neither my husband nor I could get it open when he was wearing it. Luckily, sucking in his stomach, let him pull the pants down. Otherwise, we would have had to cut it off. Not being fast learners, we did this three times before throwing the belt away.

I got this belt a week ago and used it for a wedding. The tightening mechanism was a little tricky at first but once I figured out how the lever worked it was a breeze to operate. Im a 34 waist and I found the length of this belt to be spot on....I would venture to say that even at a 38 this belt should work for you. The buckle feels like a cheap metal alloy but it looks more expensive than it is. There is a gloss on the buckle that will probably look horrible when it starts to fade...but for my needs this belt works. I wish the buckle was made of a better metal but for the price I think this is a good value. I plan on using this belt with my dress clothes and Ill update if it fails or starts to crap out on me.

The belt feels well constructed and of quality. The buckle is refined and is solid. The ratcheting mechanism is great, locks into place with no play. It seems like the R & D team did their homework. The fit and finish is really great! Ill be adding more products from this brand to my collection. If youre looking for a solid but refined belt, look no further.

I like the way this belt looks and feels. I saw some reviewers complaining about difficulty with the release mechanism. You just have to pull the little release lever away from your belly and it loosens right up. I only had trouble with it once. I would recommend putting it around your waist, snugging it up, and releasing it once before you try it on your pants. You should have no problems after that. Pictures can be misleading, this thing looks at least as good as the pictures they have up. Id say it looks better in real life than in the photos.
