Everything about this belt is perfect. From the packaging to the actual use of the belt. I’ve worn it for a few months 4 days a week at work. By far the best belt I’ve every owned. And that says something as I’ve worn about 100 in my adult lifetime. I dress business casual to formal every day and this belt has worked for both. I’ve even tested it on a pair of jeans, still looks great. I’m going to buy a couple more back ups and try their different styles. This would be a great gift for a dad or husband who complains about belts. Note. I’m a 32 and went a size up, works great but I’m going down a size for a better fit with less left over.

I love these ratchet belts. The traditional belts are hard for me because I have a bit of a belly and the holes are never a perfect fit. The ratchet belt solves this problem. I really love the buckle on this belt. It is stylish and a nice size without being overly large. The leather is a nice quality and the price is way below you will find in department stores for a belt of this quality. It comes in a beautiful box that makes for a nice place to keep your belt. I am so happy I got this quality belt at this very affordable price. It looks like a belt from a high end store that would cost over $100.

So, I have purchased 4 ratcheting belts over the course of 2 years all from different sellers. The first two that I received had broken levers and had to return. The 3rd belt was nice except when it came to loosening it. Basically, you had to pull up on the entire buckel and this caused the other side of the buckel to push into your waist. It was very ackward. The belt had to be replaced because the buckel part finally fell off the leather strap somewhere and I never found it. I received this new BOSTANTEN belt the other day and right away I could tell this was better than any of the other options I have tried in the past. First, the buckel itself is really nice and has a considerable amount of weight to it. It is a couple different shades of black chrome with subtle lines for pattern. The belt itself appears to be good quality and hopefully stand up (time will tell). The one con I would give is that the end of the belt doesnt quite reach my 2nd loop to tuck away in my pants after cutting it. I didnt want to cut it shorter so that I can leave enough slack in case I gain weight in the future. It would be nice to have a sliding belt loop placed on the belt itself for this. But this is very minor since the belt does curve in naturally and doesnt hang out and you really cant tell even with a tucked in shirt.

I had high expectations when I ordered this belt. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality put into this belt. There were no instructions as to how to put it on or take it off so I played with it until I figured it out. It is simply a button to push and it releases. That is, when the belt is not on. When I put it on, I could not release it. I tried and tried and could not. Finally I sucked my tummy in and gave it some slack. I released but only about two inches. That was just enough for be to slip my trousers off and get the belt released. Then I tried it by hand again. With slack released, no slack, no release. Great looking and well made, sort of. Returned it.

I have another belt like this which has plastic for the entire length, instead of just where the notches are. It is made for concealed carry and is meant to hold your pants up and in shape even with weight in your pockets or a holster in the pants. The problem is that the stiffness is quite uncomfortable and I dont always need a belt that stiff. This one is very flexible and comfortable. I wear 34" shorts and this had plenty of length and had to be trimmed. The release is very easy to use and if it feels tight or loose, a click or two will make it perfect vs. belt with holes. I have not used it very long and I do construction and metal fabrication work, so time will tell how it holds up. At the price, even if it only lasted a year or two, it would still be worth it.
