I have always worn leather belts in the past. The last belt purchase I made was a ratchet style leather belt that I really liked, but it did not hold up very long until it started to fall apart. I ordered this belt because it also allows for finer adjustments than a traditional leather belt, but quickly discovered that the elastic is just not for me. I have a tall and skinny build, so even with the belt pulled tight it allows my pants to slide down over my hips ( I have no rear end to hold it up). Plus I carry a heavy duty cell phone for work, and this belt allows it to flop around and stretches upward as I go to extract the phone from its case. The belt itself is very nice. Looks good, and seems to be good quality. I will probably wear it on occasion. I will be ordering another ratchet style leather belt though.

I have bought this belt three times already, I am a fairly big guy around 280lbs and I have a 44inch waist, so its fair to say Ive not been a fan of belts but my job is very physical and although not required I do wear work pants and those pants need a belt I work long hours so in the past the only belt that work was this tactical belt made by 511 that I purchased when I did security other than that most traditional belts failed since I wore then 5-6 days a week and for 12 or more hours a day I bought this belt after the belt before it failed and instantly when I wore it I could tell that this one was better there was no pinching of the gut with me being a big guy my stomach overlaps my waist when I sit and I have to drive a decent distance for work the usual leather belts would dig into my stomach after sitting for too long but not with this belt also I do a lot of bending and pushing and pulling at work and with this belt I dont feel it there more of the time I ended up having this belt for months until I mysteriously lost it and had to use a leather belt for a day or two I immediately order my second purchase of this belt then ordered a backup a week later just in case I ever need to replace the one I have no I love this belt would recommend for any especially big guys and the size chart is actually accurate too

The size chart says that a medium is 41" exclusive of the buckle. The one that arrived today that says medium on the label measures exactly 39". Worse, it has a horrible noxious smell, like petroleum or gasoline. Going back.

After loosing weight over last 2 yrs, I kept buying from my local stores the same belt for slightly higher cost. I decided to look on Amazon. I found the same style and cost less, almost half. So i thought Ok. I have S.I. injury so these belts work great for not putting pressure on area. As far as i can tell same belts. One was slightly shorter than other.They have a tendency to stretch slightly over time anyway. So i tried both on, and was OK with the fits. All goes well,may check out the other colors. Maybe they will have a beige style by then. They were in different package styles, but both new and unused as far as i could notice. I put packaging in pics also. I am stratified with my purchase. If they break or something changes, i will come back and add or change review. Going on Vacation in about 2 weeks. Will be wearing daily so i will know soon.:)
