I avoided buying any reversible colored belts because they tend to look cheap and wanted something casual and nicer looking. Im a 36 waist and normally buy 38 size shorts and pants to have them be a loose and not exact fit. Was afraid the 36/38 Large measurements might be too exact, but they fit perfectly. They hold the shorts and pants up giving them support and the leftover belt blends in perfectly after setting them. I like not having any holes, since they make the belt have a uniformed look to whatever youre wearing. The material feels like stronger cotton, made to look like like string material similar to a rope. Very sturdy feeling and flexible. The center belt buckle fits perfectly in the center. In my situation, I could go exact fit 36 or higher for a loose feel that still gives support. EDIT 4/21/2017: Still love the belt, but just as a warning. Some docker short tend to have smaller belt holder tracks. I bought a set of dockers that the belt holder was thinner than normal. You could put the belt threw like normal, but after it loops around the waist and you go for the 2nd tie, the leftover belt could not go under the belt track again. This is just the design of the shorts made to be minimal. Regular pants and shorts have worked like normal. This is because the head of the belt is slighly thicker, while the body is thinner and the design of the new docker shorts was minimal and more exact fit to compress on the body. I could still use the belt like normal, just not tie the belt head under the track a 2nd time. Since the body of the belt is flexible fabric and not hard leather, it lays flat on the body, shirts in or out, tied or not tied at the end.

Thanks to my shrinking waisteline from working out since the beginning of this year (which will continue to shrink as I continue working out regularly from here) I needed to jump down a size, plus my dislike of leather belts led me to finding this elastic belt. This belt works great because the prong can be inserted into any opening you find in the weave so there are several dozens of points you can use to fasten the belt. Only con are the craftsmanship and the synthetic leather material which feels cheap and were sewn slightly offset. Also the part of the prong that loops around its pivot is roughly cut metal which might be a hazard. I dont mind its aesthetic but I do worry that itll contribute to how long the belt lasts which I am hoping will last a good year or so of daily use.

Since I am in the process of losing weight, I was getting tired of my pants constantly falling down. As buying a new pair of pants every few weeks is not an option, I wanted a good belt, but one that would last a while without having to punch holes in. Me and belts have a hate-hate relationship as they always break on me for some reason, so my husband suggested a canvas belt and I bought this one based on the reviews. I am quite happy. Not only does it stretch--great when you are feeling bloated or just need a little extra room--it does not have the tradition punched holes found in regular belts, so it can be set at any length needed. This is perfect for me! Now I can wear my jeans without worrying about them falling down all the time.

Because of the stretchiness, you may want to consider subtracting an inch or so from your actual gut size, and buying the belt accordingly. Its actually sized accurately, but in order for it to actually hold your pants up, it has to be stretched a bit. Still, a very well-made belt, especially for the money.

This is the most comfortable belt that I have ever owned. I have a bad habit of buying my pants in a 30 waist because its hard to find a 29 and a 28 is too snug to where below my waistline. This belt makes all my pants that are slightly too big as comfortable as pants with an elastic waistband. The belt could never dig into my hips because its too soft and stretchy. This is exactly what I wanted from this belt and thats exactly what I got. I ordered the black and grey pattern of belt with the silver buckle and brown leather accent. The belt with this combination of colors and patterns has a very funky aesthetic that may be subtle enough to get away with at dressier occasions. However, I would recommend a solid colored belt for environments with strict dress codes. Also, this belt started to break prematurely. I let the company know then they sent me a new one.
