Disclaimer: Im not a belt person. Ill never understand why more men dont wear suspenders, but for buster ladies that just isnt a functional option. The elastic was nice for the stretch, but didnt make me feel secure. Weirdly enough when I wore this with a cute dress it wasnt bad fashion wise, but with jeans I ended up taking it off before I left the house. The woven pattern just stands out too much for me. I wish it was a little thinner as well. I just notice it too much when I wear it and it moves around too much on me. That said, I just needed it to keep some WAY too big pants up and it did. It just... didnt make me feel good about it. Would have been better off just tailoring the pants myself or buying new ones.

This was perfect with a pair of beige, stretch poplin slacks. These were expensive slacks that I knew I wouldnt wear often and I needed a belt I would only use a few times. The faux leather is a little too faux but for the price, its pretty good. I bought another belt from this company and I followed their advice and bought a Medium, even though it seemed like it would be too large. It was huge! Right out of the box I tried it on and I was already at the tightest hole- with nothing to do if I lost more weight, which I have. I really wish these retailers would have real people try these on so they can see the fit and understand the sizing. Had they not blasted the "Your ideal size should be..." quote all over their site, I would have listened to my own inner-voice and bought the small. That belt is now unwearble. THIS belt was bought in the right size and it fits much better. (Plus its elastic.) Im deducting one star from this review because the professional advice they gave for the other belt was inaccurate.

Since I purchased this belt there has been a too often problem with the buckles "prong". What I call the "prong" is the part of the buckle that goes into the belt to keep it where you tightened it to. Well, that "prong" somehow keeps going on the other side of the frame of the buckle. Its almost impossible to get the prong back on the correct side so you can tighten and buckle the belt. BTW, I wear a 36 to 38 inch pant, so its not because I have a big belly, overweight or something. I have strong hands and grip, but I cant get it to go back on the correct side. Thank goodness I have a really strong bodybuilder friend who can do it after four or five time using all his strength. If you are curious, when trying to put the prong back on the correct side of the buckle, we do lean/pull the prong to the corner of the buckle to shorten the length of the prone. Hope that made sense? Its so disappointing too, I will be walking along somewhere and all the sudden I will notice that my pants are not wanting to stay up. Anyway, this would be an awesome belt if the buckle was not defective. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise and would have been so happy, but now just out the 10 bucks or so that I paid.

First, as others have said, sizing might be off a bit. I have about a 32 waist and the small was definitely long enough for me. The belt does stretch, so that contributes even more to making the sizing a bit deceptive. Ive only had the belt about a week, so I cant say how well it wears over time. I bought the black belt, I think it it looks nice. It certainly looks as nice as the black braided leather belt that I have been wearing everyday with my jeans. I think this belt might even look a bit nicer with khakis. At a cost of less than $9, Id say this is a great value. So far, the only negative is that the size tag didnt just rip out - I needed to cut it.

Better than I expected for the price. It is stretchier than I thought, so time and use will determine if it will become too long--Im a 35 waist so I ordered the M, which said was for 32 to 34" waists. It is a bit long for me, and if it stretches much, it will become rather useless. For now though, its good. The coffee color is a bit more reddish than shown in the pics, but it looks nice
