My original belt is fine, but the second belt that arrived in November has fallen appart. It lasted for 4 months with light use. I attached a picture below. Im lowering my initial review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Ive been wearing this belt daily for about 2 months. Its holding up really well. The material is as nice as it was when it was unboxed. I like Columbia as a brand. Over the years, Ive owned a couple pairs of their shoes and clothes-all lasted a long time. The prices were also reasonable-I usually waited for sales. For the licenced and lawful concealed carriers out there-this belt works well. I use a CrossBreed holster with it. Very secure and comfortable.

A fairly low quality belt, the leather is only on the outside face, I worry about the durability after one day of use. The inside is fake leather of some sort and is rather rough, so rough that its not that easy to put on or off (that is, it doesnt just slip on and off your pants). The belt buckle is okay, but the design is such that it takes more effort to unbuckle than is necessary (that it, it feels like it gets caught so you have to wiggle it off the buckle). All-in-all, really disappointed that Columbia sells something like that. That being said, I got mine for ten bucks, which is really cheap, and it looks decent.

Not disappointed with the quality of this belt but the sizing which is entirely wrong. This is the second Columbia belt I have purchased and am contemplating returning this one as well. My boyfriend wears a solid 34 waist pants, got the 34 and it doesn’t even come close to buckling, got a 36 and it is hardly usable and much better fitted to me and I am a size 5 women’s pants. Color and quality is pretty nice but make sure to order not one or two but a few sizes larger!

Echoing what others have said: this belt feels really stiff, not supple like leather. In fact, it feels like heavy cardboard, even though it isnt cardboard. Contrary to the product descriptions "100% Leather" claim, this is NOT 100% leather. Stamped on the belt is the information that the inside is leather, while the outside is plastic. I expected better from Columbia, which is generally a trustworthy brand.

I have a 42 inch male waist. The product documentation suggests you buy one waist size above your pants waist. So that would mean a belt size of 44 inches. I actually purchased a 46 inch belt and I can only secure it in the very first hole next to the buckle. This means, if my waist grows larger, this belt will not fit! Buyer beware
