Ive had my belt since 1998, since then I replaced the original leather loop, removed the roller thing cause it was damaged and added a half dollar accent piece to the end for giggles. In the 5,800 days I wore it I it, my travels and work I find it perfect. On the Left is my old belt and the Right is my new old. They have changed the design over the years, the new ones arent as thick, a bit wider and the hole pattern is more rounded. The leather doesnt seem to be as good. My old belt might last longer lol.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... Probably going to get sued over that. But it does fit the narrative here. About 30 years ago I found myself in need of a belt and wound up purchasing this EXACT belt. A belt that I used just about every single day for decades. It held up incredibly and still looks nearly as good as the brand new one when viewed side by side. But, sadly, one of the thin strips of leather that holds the prongs in place finally gave way on the old belt a few months back and I began my search for a replacement. Given that decades had passed and any and all markings on the belt had long worn off, I honestly had no clue what brand the belt was, if there was even a remote chance that they still produced the product after so long or if the dual tong style was even something I would be able to find at all. Immediately I loaded Amazon and began searching. Ultimately I wound up ordering two different belts, this one and one that was much, much less expensive - just a few dollars in price. I did so because they both looked relatively good and I was not sure how well either would hold up. It turns out that the more inexpensive belt was sized totally wrong and was way, way too small. Rather than messing with returning a cheap item, I just gave it to a female friend who it does fit. Then this belt arrived and to my absolute joy - it is exactly the same belt I had purchased so many years ago. Every stitch and detail exactly the same. Having spent my entire adult life with ONE belt - you cannot imagine the exuberance I felt over having found an identical replacement. As far as a review goes? Although this one is formatted as a story rather than a review the relevant fact is stated very clearly. I am replacing this belt after three decades of daily use and zero upkeep. Other than wiping it clean every so often, I never treated it with leather lotion nor any other product to help elongate the life of the leather. What higher praise, in this day and age, could one offer a product? Durable, attractive, comfortable, reliable and lasts for decades! With any luck I will live long enough to need one more Dickies 35mm Genuine Leather belt. But at 48 the odds are on the belt outlasting me!

I have had this same belt in black for eight or ten years and it has served me exceptionally well and still has years of wear left. When I needed a brown belt, I simply searched for the exact same item and checked the color options. I have been steadily losing weight over the last few months and these Dickie belts are perfect since they will adjust far below what ever waist size I reach. If the excess gets too long, just carefully trim it off and use a suitably-colored marker to dye the cut edge. I look forward to a decade or more of use from this new belt, too. At this price, it is impossible to go wrong with these.

This belt has been one of the best belts Ive ever owned. To be fair, Ive never paid over $30 for a belt, and Ive never had a dual belt hole belt until this one. But its like dual computer screens. Once you go dual computer screens, its difficult to go back! Same with the belt holes / pegs. Its so much more stable. Im a big guy and wear size 48 pants - I purchased the 3x and it is great. Whats also great about this belt is that even if I turn into a not-so-big guy, this thing can still keep fitting me because the holes go almost all the way around. No more punching holes in the belt! I also carry a g19 and it has started wearing the belt down finally - but thats after 10 months of ownership. It still has a good 6 months to go before it gets replaced probably, but thats only because of the shape its taking due to the way I carry being a little bit awkward because of my body fat. But the buckle and holes are still in great shape! Since it is the only belt I have at the moment, Im going to spring for another one soon to not kill this one too quickly and have it as a spare. Fantastic belt!

This is the 3rd time buying this same belt and all 3 were the same size. The newer version is considerably shorter than the last one. They must measure from the holes not the actual belt size. With the newer one the holes start at the very end of the belt versus re older one that had 3-4 inches of leather before the holes started. This one fits but, there is very little belt left over. The holes are also much harder to find and harder to get the prongs through. Maybe time to switch it up?
