I had a mission belt for a couple of years and the Prather was getting worn. Saw Grip6 and I thought it looked like a good product despite its high price. I was wrong. The belt does not stay tight and is difficult to adjust. I went back to using my worn mission belt and it worked much better. I went ahead and bought a SlideBelt and I am pleased with both ratcheting belts I have now. I will be returning the Grip6 belt.

Id been bombarded with Facebook and Instagram ads for this belt for weeks when I finally decided to get one. I have absolutely no regrets. It fits great, doesnt stretch out and its super comfortable. Takes a day or two to get used to how the belt tightens and loosens but after that learning curve is done its just like second nature. While it doesnt 100% get rid of pinching your belly or pulling stomach hairs, it GREATLY reduces it. It MAYBE gets once a week when the belt I used before would get me nearly every time I stood up. As far as price, I really dont see where people have a complaint here. $35 is definitely in the range of average belt prices. Well worth the money in my opinion.

This belt meets all expectations! I am very happy with this purchase! But, it didnt start out that way. I received my new Grip 6 belt with high expectations. I wore the belt for several days and it just wouldnt hold. I kept having to retighten and retighten it. I had pretty well given up on it after the first week. About a week later I received an email from Grip6 customer service asking how I was enjoying my new belt and if I had any questions. First of all, that is brilliant customer service!

OK, you do have to watch the product video to wear this right! The end of the belt should not double back, but pass underneath the buckle and continue round your waist. Like this, it does not slip. Doh! Raising to review to 4 stars. [prior review] There is a fundamental problem with these belts: they slip. You are relying on friction to hold it in place, but as you move around through the day it inevitably slips a little, and then your pants start getting loose. So you end up regularly adjusting it. Perhaps there is a good reason why traditional belts have buckles and holes. The other problem is that although the buckle itself lies flat, the side of the belt that is looped through it sticks out a little, so the net effect is not symmetrical like you would hope, and it just looks odd.

Great idea for a belt. Very minimalistic. It does lay flat against your body as advertised. Can be a little tricky to put on and take off but you get the hang of it after a few times. Holds well. My problem is that this is way too expensive for what it is. Maybe I am missing something that happens in the manufacturing of the belt that causes it to be expensive? Its literally a metal plate with cut-outs on either side and a webbed nylon or canvas belt (not sure about the material) with one end possibly melted (?) to make it stop from sliding through the hole in the metal plate. It comes in a plain white, thin little cardboard box. Just be prepared to be underwhelmed by the packaging and materials relative to the price. However, when you start wearing it, youll be happy with it. I would actually buy a couple more but at $35 for each for a metal plate and strip of canvas/nylon, I cant justify it. i deduct one star for the price. Just as an FYI... as of this moment, you can get a 15% off code at their website for signing up for their newsletter. The only problem is it only works on their website and they charge shipping for orders under $50. That doesnt really help if you are only buying one belt. I signed up anyway in case they have any substantial offers in the future.
