The two fasteners that secure the buckle on this belt are glued together. The back side has a flathead screwdriver slot, but the front end is just a smooth surface (ostensibly to eliminate any friction when buckling). However, since there is no way to grip the smooth front side, it’s impossible to break the glue lock and unscrew the pieces without damaging the belt. The comments tell you to grip the smooth front end with needle-nose pliers and then warns you to be careful not to damage the belt. But since that part is flush with the belt surface, the only way to grip it with needle-nose pliers is to dig into the leather to get the pliers around it. Some damage is almost assured if you do this. Poor design on an otherwise high quality belt. They could easily make the smooth front end with a flathead screwdriver slot just deep enough to get purchase to crack the glue. Then youd just need two screwdrivers and no damage would occur. Seems like they put little thought into what the typical consumers experience would be.

This is a very high quality belt. The leather looks and feels great. It is thick and substantial with a very solid buckle. Im wearing it everyday and I imagine it will be my main belt for quite some time to come. If came very nicely packaged and the shipping was tremendous. I had it two days after placing the order. I would also like to say that I am impressed with this company, Relentless Brands. Shortly after receiving my belt, I received a personalized email from Katie, one of the owners of the company. She wanted to know if I was satisfied with my purchase and, if not, to respond to her email so they could do whatever it takes to make it right. Suffice it to say, I am very happy with this purchase and the personal contact from the manufacturer just makes me want to do more business with them. when I opened the package I was impressed and I looked it over . this belt looks good and well made . had an insert explaining how this belt was made and the standards they go to insure this belt will preform. long story short its a great belt. when you receive this belt and try it out I think you will really be happy.

This belt is GREAT!!! My dad goes through numerous belts each year. The last one only lasted a month. The belts that he went through were not cheap in price either. My Dad is SO HAPPY with this belt. It is solid and shows no sign of wear. It is worth so much more then they are asking for it. The quality is incredible! I initially ordered the wrong size. They paid for the return shipping and I got the correct size in 2 days. Excellent experience all the way around. Buy this belt -it is totally worth it!!!

I reached out to the company after 2 belts arrived that were very much too big. The gave me their directions for measuring to fit your pants from the middle hole of the belt to the center of the buckle. I did this on my (Women’s) belt and it worked perfectly. The service was great, the customer service person reached out to me several times to make sure the info I was sharing wouldn’t lead to another belt debacle (debuckle,(lol). That was great. Then they shipped me the corrected size right away and a tag to return the second wrong sized belt. That was wonderful service, and their service is as good as their belt. The belt is gorgeous, sturdy, beautiful crafted leather, that looks as if it will stand the test of time. I’m happy about that, women’s belts seem to loose their mojo after a couple years of intermittent wearing.... My caveat is- the internet suggests a different way to measure for the belt. Perhaps a primer could be offered by the company on the ordering page, so mistakes don’t happen? Great belt, worth the issues in getting it. That says a lot, more and more things are junk these days. Not this belt, it is quality!
