This seems to be the real deal, actual top grain leather. Wow, truth in advertising, thank you! I had some getting the provided buckle off; had to use flathead screwdriver and pliers. But you never see the hardware after, so no matter I put a few marks on the two screw on pieces. It is a quality piece. Recommended! In fact will buy another just to have two...probably the brown one which is more expensive but better with jeans.

my last belt split in half and i was left with sagging pants when i had other more important things to worry about, i had searched all the local stores and my last belt came from a well known Tractor Supply, i turned to Amazon to find a good strong solid belt that would not fall apart, sounds complicated but it isnt when i received the Journeyman Leather Belt, i knew immediately that this was going to last more than a few months, and i was so happy that my pants would not sag anymore, i am wearing my Journeyman Belt as I write this review, and I feel naked when I am not wearing it, if you need a good belt, without gimmicks and glitter or other trinkets, just a plain belt that is well made, get yourself a Journeyman Belt and feel the difference a well made belt can have on your confidence and self esteem, i cant praise them enough, i love this belt. the end.

The belt industry over the last decade seems to have gone the way of maximizing profits. So many low quality belts out there masquerading as high quality with even more expensive, designer belts lacking in basic durability. A Tommy Hilfiger belt ($40) which was my latest attempt at finding something reasonably durable lasted less than two years with it being used less than a day per week. So far Im very impressed with this belt; the quality looks very good and I think itll hold up well. Ill update this review if, in the future, my opinion of it changes but so far, its excellent.

This belt is what I was searching for. A solid belt that feels and looks like it will last. Sizing charts were good. I wear 36 waist and bought a 38 belt, and it buckles to the 2nd hole. Belts are made so shitty these days these days and made in other countries and made by companies that have no quality control or care for quality control. I saddens me and makes me angry that so much that is made these days is poor quality only to be replaces after a short amount of time. I will check by in as year or two to edit my post and sate how this belt has held up. GOD BLESS THE USA!

My husband likes his new leather belt! It is attractive in its finish and works well in his old man jeans :) This is a more informal style belt, perhaps not what the executive type would choose, but good looking and well-made for everyday wear. One of the best things is that it is made in the USA! My hubby liked it well enough to order a second one. It is more expensive than some belts, but worth the money, we would have to insist!
