No doubt, this is the best quality belt I have EVER purchased... sturdy, great value... IF... you only plan to use ONE BUCKLE, preferably the one already on it. The screws are quite sturdy... Taking the screws off to change buckles is a bear of a task and a real pain in the arse. Now here is the response from the company to a question on this: It is possible to change the belt buckle, but it can be a bit tricky. We place a dab of adhesive inside of the screws during manufacturing to make sure that they dont come loose. In order to remove the screws, you have to be able to break the adhesive seal. It can be difficult, but if you use a torx wrench on the one side and you grab the other side with a pair of needle nose pliers you can get enough torque. Once the seal is broken, it will unscrew very easily. The trick is to get a good grip on the screw with the pliers without damaging the leather, you have to be careful. If there is anything else we can do, or if you cant get it please let us know and we will help you figure something else out. OK... so you now its a problem, dont use the adhesive. You should not need torque wrenches for a belt! A car maybe, not a belt. My screws got all scratched up trying to perform this leathery operation, no thanks. If you need interchangeable, stick with snaps. So for that reason, its 4 stars...

I wear a belt, every day, every where I go. At 50, Ive owned a few and can remember a time when these things were just made better than the typical junk seen everywhere these days. I guess if the buying public has never seen a real, tough, manly belt then the masses think a soft piece of split grain veneer glued to cardboard is a good thing. I dont see it that way. Ive worn Carhartt belts for years. They are pretty good and the edge and inside finish are well done. They are thick, and they last. They also have an unfortunately hideous lineup of buckles, and they just charge too much. A good product that just costs too much. Enter the Relentless Brands Journeyman belt. This is a great belt, made right, no stupid effort to make soft out of the box. You put this kind of belt on, dont overtighten it, and just wear it. After a couple of weeks it forms to you and becomes the most practical, comfortable belt ever. The leather is good quality, has a clean working man look thats not out of place in nicer attire, and the buckle is a quality, low key type that will do the job I need done. If you dont like the buckle, the belt is made with 2 snaps to remove it and replace with your preference. Its the best deal Ive found on a belt in a long while. I live in Florida and work a lot outside. Sweat saturated belts tend to stretch, so the long term test is a summer of sweat. Initial impression is 4.5 stars. Only thing Id change would be to finish the back side of the belt to lessen absorption of moisture, and just because I prefer a finished inside.

Belt made in the USA using very good quality leather with a nice buckle. It fits as described and has 7 holes (not just 5 like some others) I expect this belt to last me for a very long time. I have bought "leather" belts before I learned, but they were made of glue and leather scraps and lasted about as long as cardboard. This is the real deal. When you buy from this seller (I have bought from them before) you get good stuff. Highly recommed!!!

This seems to be the real deal, actual top grain leather. Wow, truth in advertising, thank you! I had some getting the provided buckle off; had to use flathead screwdriver and pliers. But you never see the hardware after, so no matter I put a few marks on the two screw on pieces. It is a quality piece. Recommended! In fact will buy another just to have two...probably the brown one which is more expensive but better with jeans.

my last belt split in half and i was left with sagging pants when i had other more important things to worry about, i had searched all the local stores and my last belt came from a well known Tractor Supply, i turned to Amazon to find a good strong solid belt that would not fall apart, sounds complicated but it isnt when i received the Journeyman Leather Belt, i knew immediately that this was going to last more than a few months, and i was so happy that my pants would not sag anymore, i am wearing my Journeyman Belt as I write this review, and I feel naked when I am not wearing it, if you need a good belt, without gimmicks and glitter or other trinkets, just a plain belt that is well made, get yourself a Journeyman Belt and feel the difference a well made belt can have on your confidence and self esteem, i cant praise them enough, i love this belt. the end.
