Mens & Womens Canvas Belt with Black D-ring 1 1/2" Wide Extra Long Solid Color

I dont quite understand 12% one-star reviews of these belts. Ive been meaning to write a short review to perhaps counter some of the really pretty negative reviews I have read, and I read a lot of them before I purchased, and I purchased with some trepidation because so many reviews said the belt was likely to fall apart. I have used them heavily and waited a few weeks to even review in case I was wrong, but I find the belt exactly as advertised, very well made, very stiff canvas that stays stiff even at the cinch buckle, excellent color, strong, long enough for a moderately, um, hefty guy, with a metal tip solidly clasped into the free end and showing zero sign of separating. The stitching at the cinch buckle end is also fine and strong, showing no sign of failing even under repeated strain even though it is not double-stitched, and my method of tightening is to grab the free end and haul! I do it in line with the belt, not across it, but I am not gentle as I like my belts tight, a reason I like this type of belt in the first place. My weight tends to, ahhm, fluctuate? shall we say? Belts with holes never seem to have the hole in the right place for me. This type always fits no matter where my weight is from day to day. So if you are hesitating to order based on what seem to be a lot of 1-star reviews, I cant know if some folks have gotten "lemons," but I bought four of these so that every pair of pants I wear has its own belt already in the loops so I can grab and go without having to thread the belt through. All four are equally strong, equally well made, and after weeks of not coddling them are holding up as if still new. So go ahead, and if yours turn out to be lemons please be sure to let us know, but mine are not.

Im no expert in this type of belts, but it appears well made and does its job. A word of warning: I originally bought the belt listed as being for 40-43" waist size. That product in my opinion was too short, where after folding through the buckle there was very little extra belt to tuck away. I emailed the seller who replied promptly and offered to send the larger size (54" I think). The replacement arrived quickly and I think its a much better fit. In my hands as a 40-42" waist guy (according to my clothes anyway), using the larger belt leaves enough belt that it just tucks cleanly into the first belt loop. Personally, I would rather a belt be a bit long like this than too short. Bottom line: I think its a good product, but consider buying the larger size. The seller is very responsive if you encounter issues.

Ive been wearing military style belts for over a decade since leaving the service. I still use one of them even though it is pretty "sorry" looking. Tried a few knockoffs they sell here at Amazon and the "buckles" were far weaker where the hinge that attaches the buckle to the canvas strap pops off just looking at them. Then, I saw these as a recommended item to check out. Ordered 2 (a bad habit of mine for belt ordering) and both have worked perfectly. I spend quite a bit of my day bending over, wearing a tool belt, climbing ladders, and doing other items that the knock offs wouldnt tolerate. Even better, it doesnt feel uncomfortable and holds far better then I expected. I had about 5 lbs of nails in a bag attached directly to the belt, a hammer and trimming tools in my carpenters pants, a level hanging from the belt on the opposite side, and of course a cell phone case attached to the belt as well and the belt never slipped even being 10+ in the air. I took one star off for quality control. The belt end has a metal "clip" on it to keep it from fraying and it was put on at an angle for both belts I received leaving 1/2 the belt tip unprotected. Took the clip fully off and singed the ends to keep the belt from unraveling and riveted 2 pieces of scrap metal on to make it look decent (after painting them black.)

I bought this as I was looking for the lighter weight belt that would still hold. I work in a factory and temperatures can range from 90-100+ degrees. So everything I could do to make anything possible lighter weight and more breathable would help. This belt has been awesome. It holds good, easy to take apart for the bathroom trips, and easy to tighten if you feel you need that while working. Exactly what I was looking for. Ive had this for months, wearing often, and I work 12 hour shifts and it still shows no signs of wear.

Unfortunately the 1st belt did not fit but the seller was quick to send a replacement for another belt. It still could hace been a little longer but maybe I should just shed a few pounds. The belt is made of very good quality and should last. And also looks pretty nice. You may want to order a couple sizes larger then what you believe is your size. I think there sizing chart is a bit off. But I will give 5 stars for there immediate fix to the issue I was having. No question asked just sent me a replacement. I would have no problems doing business with this seller again.
