Belt has extremely strong chemical odor. It smells like insecticide. I let it hang outdoors for several days and it still stinks. Not sure where these are made (couldnt find it in the description) but my guess is China which would explain the chemical stink. The belt stinks so bad that the odor transferred to my pants and shirt. I will be throwing the belt in the trash as I do not want to risk exposure to whatever cancer causing chemical it is impregnated with. Buy American.

This is the second Canvas Web Belt I have purchased in the past few months and once again the product has failed. The flap of canvas that is folded over to secure the D rings uses an inferior stitching which fails over a relatively short period of time. The stitching should be of a heavier gauge thread and more than one stitch should be used to secure it in place. Thinking it was a one off issue I purchased the belt agin only to have the second belt fail in the same way. Cant recommend this belt.

Great belt, and the low price makes it even better. The D rings hold it in place very well--no "slippage". Only negative is that the loop to hold the slack is not sewn on, so you have to slip it off, and then back on when using the belt on different pants. Have to be careful not to lose it. Like the color choices. So far I have 2.

This is a great belt, but my 13 y.o. son did not like the silver buckle on the dark gray belt. He thought it was too noticeable, and everyone would be looking at it. He preferred a different belt that had a matte-black D-ring. BTW, on the dark gray belt, the buckle is silver even though it looks gold in the photo.

I think I got one of the old ones. Bought June 2018 to replace one I took from a pair of shorts that came with a belt similar to the one sold. It lasted 10 years and its just old and a little frayed from heavy usage in a restaurant kitchen environment. Your belt lasted 5 months on super light casual wear use. The metal tab came off a week ago. Today in a public space my belt broke at the stiches holding the D rings. I am highly embarrassed and angry this belt is of thicker nylon webbing and d rings that feel heavy duty.
