Update to the review below: I contacted Mission by email late on a Friday, letting them know of my issue. The belt was past the 1-year warranty by about six months. To my surprise and delight, I had a response from them about an hour later! We exchanged several emails with photos, and after maybe 3 hours, they had ordered a replacement strap to be sent to me. It was excellent customer service; the new strap seems much more sturdy than the old one, and Im hopeful it will last. No matter what, the customer service made up for a product defect, and Im still a Mission customer! Ive owned two Mission Belts. The first lasted over two years of daily use; I had worn the finish off the buckle and the stitching was coming out. In other words, it held up beautifully. This most recent one is a bit over a year old, and has had four failures. The end has torn out of the buckle three times, and the belt leather has torn through at the end of the ratchet section. Since its over a year old, Im sure there is no warranty. For reference, the torn ends happened well within warranty; the first was after a few months of use. I just trimmed shorter and kept wearing it. By now, with three trims, it was almost too short (but with the break at the end of the ratchet strap, it no longer matters). Too bad on the quality drop; Ive enjoyed the belts and will probably look for another brand that holds up better.

Ive had the "as seen on tv" version for the last year or so. I love the quick release, lifting up on the belt buckle on their version. This brand Mission is quite different. It has a very small trigger in the buckle to disengage the belt. problem is, you have to squeeze the belt together to release the tension on the belt to make it easier to release the trigger. I guess ill get used to it. Also, the as seen on tv version belt would eventually rip at the point where it was joined at the buckle, leaving me with my pants down to my knees on bourbon street lol. If this current belt is truly leather and has a buckle that can clamp down on it without ripping through the supposed leather then I will be impressed. we will see.

I purchased two Mission belts and one buckle last year and have been wearing it exclusively since. Today, my Mission buckle fell apart due to two small pins falling out allowing the two sections to separate. I found one of the pins but the other was long gone. I contacted Mission about the issue, and I was treated with one of the best customer service experiences of my life. Not only were they quick to respond, but they were concise with the instructions and prompt to review the issue. They even requested the identification markings from the buckle so that they can review the issue and make improvements. A new buckle is now on its way to replace my original at no cost. Im am so satisfied that I will be placing an order for a second buckle so that I have two styles to choose from to compliment the two belts I already own. This is the best belt Ive ever owned and with service like this, I will be Mission Belt customer for years to come.

Ive have owned hundreds of belts in my time, so I was skeptical that this could be the best belt ever. I can only say..."WOW!" At first it took me a few days to get used to the ratcheting lock on this belt. But now, I cant imagine anything else. easy to cinch down, easy to adjust after a meal or going through airport security. Comfortable, fully rugged, and yet refined. The length can be adjusted initially, although I didnt. My 36 has about 6-8 inches extending past the buckle, which is just long enough to hit that first belt loop on my favorite jeans. This belt is perfect if you have a bit of a belly flop as-well. Comfortable, secure, easy to use. Where have you been my whole life. Ill never buy another belt again. Perfect for all occasions and well engineered and classy as-well. THANK YOU!

Excellent belt for the 20 months it lasted. Unfortunately one of the metal pins holding the buckle together fell out. Ive contacted Mission to see if they will support their product. Update 1/20/18: I contacted Mission later in the evening thinking it would take a few days for them to respond. What a surprise when Beth replied about an hour later. Bianca followed up with getting the details and before I knew it I had a replacement buckle in my mailbox. A minute later I had a handsome, working belt again. Im incredibly pleased with Missions customer service and product support and wont hesitate to spend a few extra bucks to get a great belt from a company that stands by its products.
