I like the look and the material is decent. It just isnt the same as other belts Ive had similar to this. The material is 1 and a half inches wide but was kind of flimsy. It wasnt as rigid as my previous belts. Not poor quality, just not as rigid. I wear a size 34 waist and I ordered the 36-38 based on other reviews. I prefer my belt to be a bit longer and tuck the excess in the next belt loop back. It is a tad bit longer than I expected but not sure if the next size down would have been the length I needed. Im okay with it being a bit longer.

Ordered the black 38". As others have said, it appears to be a knock-off. No Propper on the buckle and the belt edge is cut narrow on wrong side so it rubs if going un-tucked. Its also very stiff unlike my other nylon belts so maybe its even made out of something else, polypropylene? Its wide and buckle is light so it holds up camping/fishing shorts with no problem and no extra weight. Just need to get the hot knife out to fix the end

Overall a nice belt. The buckle sticks out a bit, but all the belts like this do. What I found most annoying was that the cut end of the belt was just that: Cut off square, with one corner cut again. And since the last 2" or so are stiffened with some type of epoxy(?) or resin, that means the end of the belt likes to stick up a bit and poke into your side. Very annoying! Easily solved by carefully using a good shears to cut a proper rounded end on the belt. Now it threads through belt loops easier, and it doesnt poke at me. Ive paid way more for belts that did no better.

I purchased 2 of these belts 1 in green and 1 black. They came in 2 shipments. The green one was a genuine proper you can tell by the quality and the belt buckle. The black one was a spinoff with no name on the buckle and the quality was not the same it was much thinner. Was not a bad belt but Amazon should not let spinoffs allowed in there sales. The description stated it would be a genuine proper belt with the proper name on the buckle. I order from Amazon frequently and now I am concerned if I am getting genuine produts

Great Belt! Simple, effective and works. All I could ever want! Believe it or not, sometimes you wish for a great belt and come up short on a few flaws on the design and function. My only worry is the Nylon buckle. How well does it hold up in extreme cold? Will it crack? I can see in normal conditions this will hold up maybe a lifetime. My comparison is my Army aluminum buckle with the same nylon webbing. You can see the black paint coming off on it, reviling the metal. By looking at both of them, off the bat you can judge witch will withstand most beatings from you and environmental conditions.
