My brother introduced me to these belts and I was really excited about the premise of how they worked. When I got mine, my expectations were met! Putting the belt on and taking it off is now a breeze! Being able to pick how tight or loose I want my belt, on the fly, is excellent! Do like I did, when you are first sizing and cutting your belt, and start with what you think might be too much belt. If you try it and you have too much "leftover", it is easy to remove the buckle, cut some more off, and try again. And since the belt has very fine-tuned sizing options in terms of where the buckle locks, you dont have to be perfect in where you cut it. I have only had mine for about 6 weeks so far, but it has held up well! Ill try to remember to update my review after a few months to elaborate on its longevity.

This technology for a belt design is absolutely top "notch" (You see what I did there?). All kidding aside though I really do love a belt where you dont have to fuss with finding the correct hole and looping the little metal bar through it. I know weve been doing it that way for many years, but now with a belt like the SlideBelt that is a thing of the past. Also, with belts that have holes you will eventually wear that hole out to the point where it may either distort its shape, which would result in the belt not holding you as properly as it should, or it may even tear the belt to the point where it would literally rip right through the leather, thus requiring you to have to purchase a new belt. None of those things will happen with this belt design. I am no longer a "belt with holes" kind of guy as this is the only kind of belt I will ever purchase again.

I own multiple Slidebelts that Ive purchased through the last few years and have loved each one. Much better design than all of the other ratcheting belts out there. Great company and great customer service. They have tweeked the initial design and its sturdier than ever. My original purchase was a full grain leather belt that lasted four years as an everyday belt in construction with tools being constantly clipped on to it. Good run in my opinion. This last belt will be a dress best with only occassional use so I figured I could simply use one of their less expensive styles. Ive given at least 4-5 slidebelts as gifts, and most of them have enjoyed the belts so much that they ended up buying them as gifts as well. I definitely support spreading a good brand!

Buckle is not quite as heavy as other slide belts I have purchased, and the belt itself is a bit thinner and dressier. The concern with other slide belts I have used is the weight of the belt and the buckle mechanism, sometimes heavy enough to pull your pants down, exactly the condition you had hoped the belt would correct. Slidebelt is a little better than the others I have tried; plus, they have a large number of buckle/strap combinations to choose from.

Fantastic Belt. As a big guy, its tough to find nice looking belts that fit well, are comfortable and hold my pants up well. This one hits it out of the park, only wished Id ordered it sooner. Bought a couple cheaper belts, that didnt last and didnt work as well. Id recommend this to anyone, the fit is great
