I misread the directions and cut it too short - make sure you go by the markings on the back of the leather and add 2" to your normal waist size. Then try the belt on and successively trim to get the length right. What makes this belt great is two things: 1) it can be worn with different styles of clothing and it will micro-adjust to jeans or slacks, and 2) the holes on normal belts are too far apart for me - I have a small waist and my normal belts either sag or are too tight. With the SlideBelt the length is always just right. Plus, everybody at one time or another has had the Big Meal syndrome - nice to be able to loosen your belt discreetly after an over-indulge.

I love these belts. They are stylish and extremely convenient. They are easy to take off. The buckles are easy to interchangeable and easy to replace. They have markings on the inside in case you want to cut it to size. Just be careful. The first belt I got I didnt notice the markings and cut it a little too small and on the wrong end lol.

I bought the Slidebelt and it worked well for a year. The rachet system was very cool and the buckle looked nice until it was scratched. Then the belt kept slipping out of the buckle. Somehow the buckles grip may be loosening, but it wasnt a big problem. The deal breaker came after a year where the leather belt developed a huge crack across the width threatening to cut the belt off. Its a real disappointment how the poor quality of the leather ruined otherwise a cool belt. If you are set on buying, pay double the price of normal leather and get the premium leather version of the belt.

Ive had it for about a week and so far I love it. I have always been a fan of the old style web belts from my Army days because they fit whether you are full or starving. This belt gives me that precise fit and it is very stylish. It is very well made. The leather feels like quality grade stuff. The ratchet is a very cool ideal. It is very precise. A vey slight tug and a ratchet clicks to lock the belt in place. The fit is always perfect!! Best belt Ive ever owned and I currently have about 20.

7 months later it broke. I really liked this belt bought one for me and one for my son. It broke a lot faster than expected. Ive put in an email to support. Lets see what happens
