This is not a Timberland belt. Just because you put a Timberland logo on it doesnt mean its made by Timberland. I compared this against the belts Timberland actually sells and they do not make a belt with a logo placed in this location. Their actual classic jean belt has the logo on the buckle. This is a ripoff. The material, as someone else puts it, stretches the definition of leather. It is very cheap. I will be returning it asap.

I like the belt. The only problem I had is I have a 34 waist so I ordered a size 36 belt, which is how I always size my belts. This belt says 36 on it but seems to be more of a size 38 belt. I can still use it but it has more belt left over when I wear it then I would like. Quality seems fine. I order the 40mm belt in brown as a size 34 and it is slightly short but still wearable. Sizes seem off on belts.

Bought this to replace an old, "identical" Timberland belt that had somehow shrunk (ha ha) and no longer fit me. Very disappointed with the quality of the replacement. The old belt was very supple "belting" type leather with smooth edges. This one was thinner, stiffer, and had very unfinished edges. Luckily my diet is working and the old belt now fits again! Is price all that matters any more, even if quality is degraded?

I purchased 2 of these, first one was too small, not posted length, ordered 2nd, it showed up thinner then first and and longer then posted length. The first one didnt have any "Timberland" branding. the 2nd one did but was off center and light. This is not a true Timberland belt. you get what you pay for, buyer beware.

I usually wear a 1.5" bridle leather belt with my jeans. But lately it seems to look too wide. I think for 2018-19 a thinner 1.25" looks more normal. This is exactly what I wanted: solid leather, bridle style. I end up buying a black and dark brown because these look so good. NOTE: one review mentioned that this wasnt a true Timberland product. Another that it was a layered leather. My experience is different...see the attached photo.
