hate to be the discordant, however, I have always used this type of belt for many years. accustomed to them during my service years, and after my retirement (1969) this belt type has allowed the midsection to gradually expand without punching more holes in traditionally made belts. the PLASTIC buckles on both of my new belts did not equal the METALS with GI ones.

I purchased some shorts at my retailer that did not include a belt (often they do). I decided to try these belts, the dual colors giving me a choice of what to wear with different colored shorts. The belts look very nice - better than the average "military" cloth belts, they do have the subtle shine as pictured. The plastic buckle works a little differently, you slide it through and snap it down to lock it, it takes a bit to get used to, but that happens quickly. You need to be a bit careful - if , like me, the shorts fall down quickly when you change, the belt is easy to step on and being a plastic buckle, you must be careful not to step on it. The extra "ring" provided to tuck the belt in is a nice plus. I bought the "under 42" size - Im a 38 waist and it fits fine - plenty of extra belt to tuck in. Overall, great belts at a great price! Recommended!

These are without a doubt the BEST belts I have ever used or owned. The belt itself looks nice with its 2-toned sheen, but what keeps me from EVER having to pull my pants up once the belt is easily buckled is the buckle itself. The belt STAYS buckled to whatever exact tightness you like, and it does not come loose. And you are not restricted to the tightness of only prepunched holes. You can get whatever tightness you want with this belt! If you then eat a little more at lunch, you then adjust the buckle for continuing comfort. It is that easy! On with the pants, buckle the belt, and be done with it! The belt is also not so stiff that you feel constricted if you twist and turn. I absolutely LOVE this belt, and I am SO glad to be rid of that annoying habit of having to adjust my pants every waking hour of the day. THIS is the belt to buy!

These are actually really good for the money. The only problem I see is that the belt loops come off the belt when you take it off. The alternative is that it could be sewn in place, but that means that you may need to trim your belt if you have too much tail left over. Another thing I feel as a con for this belt is that the buckle is plastic. Ive had these for a month or so now and havent had an issue with that, but just the feel of them gives me the impression that I shouldnt snug these down too much.
