Every so often a product comes along that is so incredibly simple and effective, it makes you wonder how youve gotten through life all these years without it. These ratchet belts are such an item. I saw the ad on television, and it looked like a good idea immediately, but I didnt order them. Which was foolish, because had I known how awesome they are... I would have ordered a half-dozen on the spot. As the years have begun to catch up with me a bit, my once trim midsection is in a never-ending battle with all my belts. Im sure you know what its like to have your belt either a little too loose, or a little too tight, you just cant ever seem to find that "sweet spot." This belt eradicates that problem, once and for all. Once you have trimmed the end where you want it, you attach the buckle, and you are good to go. I am a truck driver by trade, I am in the truck, out of the truck, bending, twisting, turning, lifting, walking up stairs, excetera. Not once has this belt been uncomfortable. Its simplicity is what makes it so remarkable. There are multiple colors, and over 30 different styles of belt buckle. I am telling you, make the investment and try one... you will literally throw out every other belt you own. Ratchet belts have completely redefined practicality, style, and comfort. I freaking love this thing!

Discovered the ratchet belts while searching for a white belt to go with one of my golf outfits. Belt strap is very well made with some form of high density foam rubber as the inner core shape support which is sandwiched between two "seam sewn" synthetic leather outers. The belt its self is very flexible and comfortable to wear, yet retains perfect retention when tightened. The Ratchet buckle is also well made with a very nice high luster surface that is further complimented by how heavy the piece is designed and made. Much more for your money than you would expect from just seeing it in pictures. This ingenious ratchet system is hands down the coolest feature to any belt I have ever owned, especially for the cost. The function is mechanically simple and makes so much sense I cant believe this wasnt the standard years ago! As for this seller, I was expecting the shipment to be a while due to the shipping info suggesting I would not see it till somewhere in between 2 weeks from now. Took roughly a week to get it in the mail box. I would definitely recommend this seller and these belts to anyone and plan to purchase several more since I know what to expect now.

Not only did it arrive in 1 week (it was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, but it is the most attractive and the sturdiest belt I have ever owned. No belt holes, just sliding it through is a big help--you can get it the exact size you want. I need a white belt to go with all white clothes for attending LDS temple sessions. My previous belt, with holes and a little piece that goes in the holes, was impossible to get a good fit with (either a little too loose or a little too tight) and the sewn leather that held the little prong on (prong that goes in the holes) broke open, i.e. the stitches ripped after the belt got wet once in a baptismal service. This belt is strong, beautiful, inexpensive, and adjusts to any size waist--to every 8th of an inch. I LOVE it!

The belt is long. But it should be. You are to cut it to length. Make sure you cut the flat end not the curved end. Cut a little and put it on. If you need to, take it off and cut it a little more and try it again. Its better to cut the belt 5 or 6 times than cut it two short and you have to give it a child. To look good, the curved part of the belt shouldnt stick past the buckle more than 1 to 2 inches. Test opening and closing the belt BEFORE you put it on. There is a small lever on the bottom of the belt buckle to unlock the ratcheting part of the belt. If you are wearing it you will not see the latch.

This product does not compare to EazyBelt. I tried to wear it 5 times after practicing how the release mechanism worked. The first use was difficult to release. The next three tries were no better. On the fifth wearing I was unable to get the latch to release. After trying everything I could to release the latch, I gave up and cut the belt itself to get out of my pants. If there was a negative Star rating, I would give this item a negative five stars.
