Glasses arrived earlier than expected. They are really nice and fit good. The only reason I give 3 stars is because they seem warped. I put them down on a flat surface and they sit uneven. Im pretty sure this isnt how a pair of glasses like this are supposed to be. Maybe they are and I just dont know. Has anyone else had this problem?

I own lots of Oakleys and found myself replacing the lenses too often due to scratches. Oakley lenses are very expensive and aftermarket lenses are inferior in durability and quality. I wanted to try some sunglasses with glass lenses. My thinking is that glass would be much more scratch resistant and the trade off would be possible shattering if dropped. I bought 2 pairs of Ray-Bans 4075 and these predator 2s. Both are great. I prefer non polarized lenses to avoid rainbow effect when looking through plastic film like window tinting and screen protectors on smartphones. These glasses that I have are matte black plastic frames that fit my face very well and feel a little cheap. They do say made in Italy on them and the hinges are made of plastic with a standard screw as an axle. Glass lenses are sort of rare in the sunglasses world unless you want to pay over $300.

I bought these sunglasses specifically because they are NOT polarized. I was not able to see some of the displays in my car with polarized glasses ( a common problem). They are exactly what I was looking for and I can now see all displays including the “heads up” display that was not visible at all through polarized glasses. As a bonus they are light weight, have good fit and good coverage. I have not had them long enough to comment on durability. Be careful when ordering as Ray Ban makes both polarized and non polarized versions of the Predator 2 (RB2027). The W1847 apparently designates non polarized.

Not sure if these are REAL RayBans. Why? They were recently purchased, and in my non stop efforts to take good care of them, they seemed to scratch very easily. The inside lens on the right, with gentle cleaning, now seems marred, oddly. Makes me wonder whether comments in the past ARE TRUE! Buyer beware.

These would be my second pair. The previous ones lasted about six years but proved to perform poorly when matched against Michelins mounted on on Subaru - yes I ran over my own sunglasses! I highly recommend them otherwise; if youre over 30 and need to look cool but grown up without spending ridiculous amounts of money, these shades are well worth it. They are optically perfect w/o any distortion and wrap around enough to keep annoying sunlight from getting into your peripheral vision. They are dark enough for most situations and are not polarized - something Ive always found annoying if not gimmicky. These are serious sunglasses. BTW Ive always worn mine with set of Croakies® sport bands You can use them to keep from losing your shades and cinch up the retainer and they will stay on even while riding on a jet ski: http://www.amazon.com/Croakies-Cotton-Eyewear-Retainer-adjustable/dp/B002P68BT4/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1427282286&sr=8-9&keywords=sunglass+croakie+black
