Im at the point in my life where I felt ready to invest in a nice pair of sunglasses that would last me a couple years rather than a single summer. Ive had an old pair of Ray Bans for years that I found on the ground and which I really liked. Im not sure if maybe I received knock-off Ray Bans from this order or if the brand has gone VASTLY downhill in quality, but these sunglasses were a HUGE disappointment. Right off the bat they felt cheap and light-weight, not at all like the Ray Bans my friends have that I tried on prior to purchase, or that Ive handled in stores, or compared to the old pair I have been using. Perhaps because the frames were so low-quality, there was already a scratch on the frame just below the lens. I was expecting something sturdy that felt like a quality product. These felt like half a step above $15 knockoffs. I will say, however, that the lenses looked really nice and the frames themselves fit my face. I loved the way the glasses looked, but it felt like I was spending $125 on glasses that I could get for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Im really disappointed in Ray Ban. I will give the standard Wayfarers a try but if those dont work out I will be looking for other brands.

Buying things off Amazon has started to make me question if its becoming simply a large marketplace of chinese imitations? Third party sellers can offer prime. Are these legitimate Ray Bans? I think so? Can I be for absolute certain? No. I guess thatll have to be good enough. Construction seems pretty good. Engravings appear legitimate. Craftsmanship appears high, all edges smooth. Hinges nice. Itll do. Sent them off to have RX polarized lenses put in. Ive also owned two pairs of WayFarers, which I believe were legit, if imitation isnt in Sunglass Hut too. Quality is about the same. These are larger frames than wayfarers. Less statement type frame, which I like.

Very comfortable, high quality frame. However, the lenses are totally different from the depicted photo.

I’m an Oakley guy. I love the full wrap around eye protection Oakley provides. Been buying them for years? Expensive? Well, yeah. But we’re talking about your eyes. If the last a year, $150 is a good deal imo. But for pure, classic sunglasses you can’t go wrong with two types - aviators, or Wayfarers. Everyone likes these classic, dark, cheap sunglasses. They fit great. I like the rubbery frames. Polorized, baby. I got mine for $113. Totally worth it. When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head The first thing you do when you get up out of bed Is hit that streets a-runnin and try to beat the masses And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses.

Very nice look, brand name recognition, bragging rights, and perfect fit. I really do like this glasses over all, but the material quality should be much higher. Plastic frame (though a very nice matte plastic) and plastic eye piece instead of glass, a bit disappointing. But youre buying these for the name and the style, while there are of course more functional and higher quality material sunglasses, theres only one Ray-Ban brand. On a side note the box these come in is absolutely abysmal, youd expect a nice first impression, but no its just a small rickety gray cardboard box. Anyway thats not too big of an issue, the glasses werent broken or anything as they come in a (again, disappointing for the price) genuine leather case that looks very nice, wish it was a hard case though! Just gonna have to buy that at another time. Overall I dont have any "huge" complaints. The glasses look and feel nice and are a head turner
