Ray-Ban RB4165 Justin Rectangular Sunglasses

Very light weight with excellent UV protection. The colour is less tortoise shell and more of a dark chocolate brown. The price was perfect.

I waited to review till I was able to wear for a few weeks. These are extremely comfortable. The frame material is nice and light. You can wear them for hours and extended periods. They leave no indentation on my nose. The length of the arms in which rest over your ears fit my face perfectly. They do not slip or shift on my face at all. The lens size is a little larger than some of my other Ray Bans very similar style to these. With the lines being larger they definitely cover your eyes and visible space better. They are a #3 pull arise and do their job very well. My eyes and face stay comfortable all day in the sunlight. I bought the brown tortoise color. I am seeing slight wear to the lettering inside the arms that display the serial number and such. However I do not feel like that is that big of a deal considering the frames are made of a rubber material. The sweat and such on your face while wearing them Im sure helps encourage the lettering to wear off. I would definitely purchase another pair if anything were to happen to the current.

I tried to cancel the order for these Justin shades and planned on returning them, due to finding out that the lenses are plastic! But its OK! You see, I normally buy glass lenses as I have found over the years as a previous prescription glasses wearer (Lasic surgery recently) that plastic lenses will eventually form tiny scratches due to cleaning them and normal wear. However, those lenses have usually been relatively small. After receiving the Justins, I note that the normal size (55mm) are much, much taller than my 54mm new or old Wayfarers. Ray Ban even made the case size taller to accommodate. If they had glass lenses they would be too heavy on my face. Since I like the style and the shape: the fact that they dont touch my bike helmet (upper edge of the frame and temple pieces are pretty low relative to the bottom edge of the helmet; they dont touch) or get smudged with facial oil, sunscreen, and sweat, since the nosepiece and frame shape holds the lenses away from the skin. The light brown on bottom and gradual darkening of the lens towards the top and the polarizing effect are excellent on overcast or sunny days without being too dark in the shady areas or some kind of goofy mirage effect on distant water as I have found with some other brands. Also good in car with dashboard reflections on inner windows virtually eliminated. So I recommend these, as long as they are carefully handled.

I got these to replace a set of ray ban wayfarers that got stolen at a wedding. I enjoying these more then i did the others. Real good quality cant say enough good things about them.

I bought this to my dad as a Christmas present and he was ecstatic with the look, design and style of the sunglasses. He is 69 and looks very fashionable with them. I also was impressed with the guaranteed 2-day delivery by Amazon. I placed the order on Sunday at noon and was delivered on Tuesday before noon. It was less than 48 hours after!
