I loved this wallet when I first received it. The leather is supple and the design is superb. Unfortunately two stitches failed on the first day of use after only carrying it for a few hours. I never even got a chance to pull it out to pay for something, it simply sat it my back pocket for a few hours. Nothing else was in my back pocket, so it wasnt damaged by something else I was carrying. My previous wallet (from another company) has lasted for over seven years without issue, so this definitely seems like very poor workmanship. Other reviews appear to report the same issue. I mentioned my issue to a friend who carries a Bellroy wallet. He said he experienced the same issue with the same wallet. This is ridiculous for any wallet, let alone one of this cost.

Im not new to minimalist wallets. Prior to this wallet, I had an Infinity Wallet which is a few pieces of wide elastic that hold together all my cards and a few bills. It is smaller than this Bellroy wallet. But, whenever I pulled it out for a business lunch or otherwise, I always felt one step away from a velcro wallet. It just wasnt classy enough for clients, etc (vain, I know). This was primarily why I purchased this wallet. The surprise to me was how much more I like this wallet despite it being larger. It is very nice to have a few key cards front and center. I found that two cards could fit in each slot giving me 4 easy to grab cards. I have another 6-8 cards in the hidden pocket. This and a few bills fits very nicely. As an added bonus, I often travel with a bullet space pen in my pocket. It fits perfectly in the crease of this wallet without making the wallet any wider. Im a few weeks into using the wallet. My only concern is how long itll hold up. But, with their warranty, hopefully that will not be an issue. Also, many of my past wallets failed when the lining tore and would snag cards. Since this doesnt have a lining, Im hoping thatll be a plus. I get that this wallet is at a cost premium, but it really is a great wallet.

First, I will acknowledge that this wallet is probably not worth $80. Im not sure any mens wallet is worth that. That being said, i purchased many different wallets on Amazon before I gave up and tried this one. Its the first slim wallet I tried that actually does a job holding 6-10 cards and some cash. The pull tab is a great feature for less used cards. Look and feel of the wallet is great, very soft leather. I saw some negative reviews regarding the stitching and I dont see that at all. If youre not looking to spend $80 on a wallet, there are other wallets out there for around $20 that do the job ok, but if you can splurge on yourself, then you will not be sorry with this wallet.

Seems to be well-constructed, though the materials dont feel as substantial as the Coach wallet I retired in place of this one. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, which is great -- I was looking for the smallest wallet possible that would still be functionally sound, as I wanted to switch to front-pocket carry. This accomplishes that like a dream. I probably could have gone a bit larger, but the size is honestly perfect. It is a bit darker than the color pictured (I purchased the Caramel one). I was hoping for this sort of bright "butterscotch" color, and it isnt that. I docked one star for that. Ive carried it for about 5 days now and have noticed no deterioration nor anything like that, in spite of what other reviews say. I have 2 cards in each of the "quick access" sides, 4 cards in the pull tab area, and about 8-10 US currency bills in the cash area -- it maintains a very slim profile in spite of this. It doesnt stay closed outside of the pocket, which is fine with me. The pressure of being in my pocket keeps it closed. Good product, glad I purchased.

Is this a lot for a wallet ? It seemed like it at first but after a few weeks of use I would never go back. You do have to keep your folded bills neat. If they are misaligned more than 1/4 inch after folding they may not fit it. Ive found it useful to keep ones on one bunch and larger in another. However as credit cards are now more of my transactions, the space saving is worth it. On one pocket I have my transit card, in another my most common credit card, and I can fit 7 cards in the pull out pocket. Keep a change jar at home. Its slim enough its not uncomfortable in front slim jeans and fits inside inner jacket pockets. Its a high quality product and the seams are solid.
Super slim profile, for minimalists who carry sparsely Best suited to 4-12 cards and folded bills 2 quick-access slots for daily cards, plus a clever pull-tab section for the rest Made from environmentally certified top-grain leather Measures 3 inches tall x 3.7 inches wide / 80mm tall x 95mm wide
