Carhartt Men's Billfold Wallet

I was excited when I found this wallet in Amazon and ordered it. And its a Carhartt product. But when I saw the wallet and had a feel of it, I was a bit dispointed with the finishing of the leather. Its a nice genuine leather but its not buffed or polished as what I expected to be. It felt unfinished. I never had a wallet with this kind of finishing before so it felt weird. On the first week (wore it everyday), it was difficult to take the wallet out of my back pocket because it doesnt slide out. It was difficult to grab it with 2 fingers (pick-pockets would hate this) because it felt like its stuck. I was almost tempted to bring it to a leather repair shop and have it buffed. Going on 3rd week now and Im starting to like it. The leather is starting to look like its been buffed and softer but Its still a little difficult to get it out my back pocket. Maybe Ill get used to it. Well see.

After running through leather wallets just about every 18-months for the first 12 years of my adult life, I decided to try out a Swiss Canvas wallet which lasted closer to 30-months. Encouraged I tried to buy another but could no longer find it. Carhartt, notorious for well built work wear, seemed like a natural next choice. So far about a year its held up well. Lets see if it can get me to at least 3 years. Itll earn that 5th star if it does.

Very nice. Dual fold so not as bulky. If you can not fit all you need in this wallet then you need to reevaluate your decision making process for what you carry with you.

Bought this as a gift for my husband which is his second one in five years. He loves the style and durability of this wallet. Price is amazing compared to the first one I bought at a local Tractor Supply store and comes in a very nice collectable tin making it easy to give as a gift. I will for sure purchase from this seller again and again

I have had this wallet for a few months and its falling apart. The pockets for the credit cards have fallen apart and my cards just fall out. The stitching is coming apart as well. The leather trim around the edges is now brown. I expected better quality from Carhartt, but its imported crap, I would have been better off spending half as much on some other Chinese wallet. Now Im just gonna spend the money and buy something made here in the good old USA.
