I bought this in July 2016, and today (as of October 2018) it has worn out...the seams are splitting and the metal RF blocking material is falling out. Should I expect a longer life? I dunno, but if you do, then this might not be for you. Overall, though, I like the design and the capacity. Since the price is OK, Ill probably buy another similar one (the price seems to vary quite a bit based on the color). But my expectations are, well, meh.... UPDATE. Well I ordered another one anyway and discovered it has a valuable feature that the other one lacked - it controls my credit card spending! It does it by not releasing my credit card when I want/need to use it. Seriously, there is some adhesive substance that in the pockets where the cards go that holds the card in place like iron. I have had to lift and pry the material around the card to release it...a real PITA. No it’s not just tight leather. I put talcum powder down the pocket but it helped only for a day or two. So I’m seriously considering returning it - also a PITA. Reducing it to two stars. SECOND UPDATE (2/2/19): I decided to keep it. What a mistake! The glue used in ththe construction makes it impossible to get cards out. Nothing fixes it. I tried putting talcum powder in the card slots; after a few days back to the same problem. I used some old gift cards to try to block the glue, and the credit cards still had to be wrestled out SO DONT BUY THIS! ITS GOT A MAJOR FLAW THAT YOU CANNOT FIX. If I could return it I would.

When you order a supposedly a brand new item and pay for it but this is what you receive!!!! This is a Christmas gift I bought for my boyfriend and i received a worn out, used wallet, like seriously who ever prepared the order did not even look or bothered to read what the customer actually ordered or paid for !!!! Zero star is my rating !!!!! Columbia is a really great brand name and products are worth the money the bad rating is for the Amazon service

I purchased this wallet from my grandfather as a Christmas gift. He received this gift on December 26th and put his items in the wallet. He literally had four cards, AAA, credit cards etc and two ID cards and some money, that was it. By the 3rd of January less than 10 days of him owning this wallet it had busted open at the seams. This is probably the worst qualities that Ive ever encountered from a Columbia product. I wouldnt be surprised if this was some counterfeit Chinese product. I would give this zero stars if it was possible. This was a complete waste of money! I had to go out purchase him a new one and I will be returning this one.

2 year update: This has to have been the fastest I have had a wallet fall apart. Very disappointing coming from such a respected brand. It is a nice wallet if a bit thicker than my last trifold. I am disappointed in how it is wearing. The edges are fraying after eight months of use.
