Pretty disappointed with this item from what I thought was a quality brand. It made just over 30 days before the stitches blew out. Now my cards are falling out all the time

Finding billfold-style wallets with a chain is difficult and usually costly. This is an exception, but there are reasons why. Despite what the description says, this is NOT leather; instead, it is some type of synthetic material, and it remains to be seen how long it will hold up. The chain is short, and fairly light, which is what I wanted, but others might be seeking a longer chain. Just be aware. The clasp on the chain is really very nice. Overall, the build on this wallet is pretty good, but I am disappointed in the incorrect description, and want to make sure others realize that it is a synthetic, non-leather material, they are purchasing.

Looks & feels like decent leather. The chain is a very good length. Not too short. Not too long so that it dangles down the side of your leg. The plastic emblem leaves much to be desired. Itll rub and wear a pattern on your back pocket. The really bad thing about the wallet is that the dye is coming off. My hands turned brown just from handling it. Maybe its only temporary but I would be pretty tickd if I were wearing a pair of lighter colored pants.

Yep, having my billfold chained to my clothes has already saved me from losing it again. What really prompted this purchase was having my billfold stolen from me while I was at the check out line of a fast food store. Right under my nose...and it was gone. I realized that I am getting a bit long in the tooth and not so good about remembering things, so I decided to get one of these wallets with a chain. I checked the reviews of several wallets and decided to go with this one. Why? Because it did have positive comments about the chain, and the inside slots. This one got four stars from me as the chain is excellent, the clasp is very strong, metal and quite secure. The wallet material is fine, but nothing special. It does look like the wallet will hold up for quite a while. I do wish that it was a bit larger. That is, that it had some plastic folders for pictures or credit cards, but there are enough. The lack of space did cost the rating one star. Im glad I bought this one, given what was available at the time. It certainly is worth the money. You really wont have to worry about losing it IF you do use the chain. It has already saved me more than once from simply forgetting it. UPDATE: 12 April 2013~~ I have now had this wallet for over six months and it continues to please me. I cant count the times that I might have walked off without this wallet except for the chain. The chain and clasp are holding up fine. The wallet material still looks almost new. And, as I drop the wallet many times, (old age is really creeping up on me), stuff that is in the wallet does NOT fall out. That surprised me but was an nice "feature" that I discovered about the wallent. I certainly would buy this again, if I ever lost it. But, I dont think I will because the chain keeps it close to me.

Been wearing it for about a month now. So far it’s held up and my general rule of thumb with wallets is that if it last around a month with no issues then it should be able to hang on for the long haul. Material seems sturdy and there is plenty of places for cards and what not without it being overkill. My only gripe, and the reason it’s getting four stars instead of five is because of the chain length. The length of the chain is about ten to twelve inches, which is a bit short to hook on to the belt loop you normally hook a chain to. So I just hook the chain to the belt loop closer to the back pocket, it’s not as natural but I got used to it. However overall it’s a sturdy wallet.
