Its ok. I actually ordered 3 different Leather money clips. This was the most expensive one and the other 2 were more to my liking. The magnet is ridiculous weak. 3 bills is pushing it to its limits. Its nice looking but thats about it. The Alpine Swiss non magnetic was my favorite out of the 3 I ordered and it was $13 compared to the $33 I paid for this one.

I purchased this wallet along with two others in my attempt to transition to a smaller wallet. My criteria for this switch was something that would handle at least the minimum number of cards that I believe I need to carry around with me. It had to have a good look and feel, and overall it needed to be functional and something that I felt I could live with. The wallet has a nice look and overall function so those criteria were met. However it fell a bit short on being able to hold the minimum number of cards while also maintaining function. Im really not sure what the purpose of the very front pocket is, thats not just ascetic stitching on the front there its actually stitched to the pocket behind it thus making two slim key size pockets. Not sure if thats the actual intention there but it took away a much needed slot for me so that took this wallet out of the running. The wallet seemed to be assembled well. The stitching and leather work both looked good and gave me the impression that they would last over time. The magnet was pretty strong and I believe it would work for a modest amount of money which is about all I ever have on hand anyway.

I used to carry around a thick bifold wallet with 10,000+ cards in it (slight exaggeration). It was annoying and always left a bulge on my butt! I got one of these thinking I could cut out some unnecessary cards (store loyalty cards). It works great! I still have about 7 cards in it without a problem, but its much slimmer than a traditional bifold. I now carry it in my front pocket too, which gives me a little piece of mind as I dont have to worry as much about pick pockets while traveling. I also have no problem having multiple bills with the magnetic closure. Ive had 10 folded bills and havent had any trouble with the magnet.

Quality leather with plenty of room, however, the clip portion of the money clip is ineffective. The magnetic is strong enough if walking around with a few bills but once a twenty is broken, the whole clip system fails to properly retain bills. A stiff insert within the clip arm would help, now ½ the time I remove the money clip from my pocket, the clip arm opens and bills either fall on the floor or are left in my pocket.

This is my second Fossil card wallet. I had the first one for at least 10 years, perhaps longer. It finally wore out. It is extremely well made and the magnet is strong enough to hold a large number of bills in place. Plus there are several spaces for credit cards, drivers license etc. It is compact and fits well in a front pant pocket with room for your change. Much better than just a money clip. I highly recommend this product. I could never go back to a rear pocket billfold.
