Ive needed a new wallet for some time. Over the years, my wallets have gotten smaller and smaller. I never put my wallet in my back pocket, and Im often in shorts when the weather is decent. So, the quest for a minimalist wallet begins. So many choices...... Eventually, I got tired of looking at the thousands of wallets on amazon, and chose this one. Its subtle and classy looking, with good reviews and a low price. It kind of works for me, but I need to carry 10 cards and some cash (license, debit, credit, work ID, insurance and a couple membership/loyalty cards.) I even ditched a couple cards I used to carry and use frequently enough. Well, as much as I want to love this wallet, its really best for no more than 7-8 cards plus some cash. Its super snug and I have a hard time getting any of the cards and cash out. Its very well made and looks sharp, but Id love it to have an extra card slot on each side. It doesnt seem like 2 extra cards should make that much of a difference, but it does. Maybe itll stretch out to fit what Im carrying. In any case, I ordered another wallet (one designed for more cards) that is rigid with an external money clip. Ill keep carrying this one until the other one arrives. If you carry no more than 8 cards and carry less than 8 bills, this will be awesome. Sadly, I typically carry more cards and more cash bills. UPDATE: I have a work ID card that has an NFC chip used to log on to computers, and it works just fine while in the wallet. My cell phone (Galaxy S8+) recognizes the NFC chip also. I tried putting the ID card behind several other cards in the wallet while in the sleeve, and my cell phone still detected it (my phone beeps when it senses an NFC chip). I then put the card in the cash slot so the card was completely encased in the wallet, and my phone detected it right away. I tried re-orienting the card and it didnt change. I would be very suspect of the RFID blocking capabilities of this wallet.

Got this as I was traveling a lot and didnt want a big chunky wallet, and I didnt want to use a phone-wallet type case, because while you only have to carry one thing in your pocket, if you lose it you lose everything. This wallet was a nice compromise, holds the bare essentials and is very slim and stylish. So far it seems pretty durable. The area in the middle for paper money is a bit stiff to get bills in and out but it holds them tight so thats good. And the side pockets for credit cards are a bit tall, basically sometimes theres not quite enough of the card sticking out to get a grip on it to slide it out. But Im used to it now. My only major complaint is there were roughly 3 or 4 tags down inside the aforementioned bill fold area. I guess washing instructions? They made it IMPOSSIBLE to easily slide bills into the pocket! Theyd bunch up and completely obstruct the money from sliding in. I had to go in with very small scissors to cut them out. Much easier now. They should never have been there in the first place. Otherwise Im very happy with this stylish, slim wallet.

This is a really nice wallet. I wanted a simple minimus type wallet for my essentials. I usually carry my Costanza wallet but when I dress up I like to take something smaller. My bro-in-law had a red/blue one and I fell instantly in love with it. It seems to be high quality and the build seems solid. I dont really know anything about Herschel but I like the logo and the dual color scheme. Time will tell how it holds up.

Im really enjoying this wallet. Coming from using a Big Skinny for 6 years before requiring replacement. This feels more durable, while providing a small footprint as desired. It is thicker than the big skinny, but feels more substantial and durable. I had wanted a card ID slot, but if I had to show ID it was typically asked to be removed from the wallet. This eventually wore out the ID slot on my Big Skinny. Cards stay in firm. I am not worried about them falling out.

Thats what I was looking for when I was looking to order a card holder wallet. Im the kind of person who doesnt like having a bulge in my pocket from my wallet. Like dont get me wrong I love me a bifold wallet but sometimes its too much for me. I like slim, small, simple and stylish. So Im really happy with my purchase. If you do tend to carry lots of coins then this may be a problem because there isnt really a good place to put the coins. I personally dont carry as much cash thats why I dont have any problems with any change or anything. If I do have a little cash it usually goes in the middle pocket but majority of it is cards hence being a card holder. So if you are someone that just wants to carry around your cards around instead of cash and coins, then this is the product for you.
