I have to say this is truly a 5 ⭐️ product. But before I leave it at that - I have to admit that at 1st, I wanted to return it. The color IS true to the picture in the listing, but for some reason I thought it would be more of your standard cognac colored wallet. I was intent on a certain color preference and when it showed up differently than Id imagined, I wasnt so pleased. Since the gripe was minor and it came with everything else I bought it for: i.e. ample card slots, double bill dividers, a flip I.D pocket & RFID protection - I gave it a chance anyways. I fell in love with the smell of the genuine leather and how soft it was to the touch. With all my cards, my I.D and cash in it - it laid flatter than ANY other wallet Ive ever owned. To add to the positive impression, I had ordered 4 other RFID wallets from different companies to compare the one I liked best and return the rest... this wallet was HANDS DOWN the best quality, make and build. It doesnt feel (or smell) cheap, its well made and the company is a small family owned operation. Theyve really considered all the practical and aesthetic needs of the customer, not to mention the value is wonderful for the product you receive. I got to the point of printing out a return label.....but I couldnt bear to part with my new wallet. I had already fallen in love

Excellent product. The leather was a little stiff when it first arrived, which is to be expected, and has loosened slightly in the few days Ive had it. The cards are fairly easy to extract now, and I dont mind them fitting snugly in their slots, as this prevents them from falling out. I also tested the RFID protection and am pleased to report that it seems to work quite well. My work uses RFID to read our cards to open doors, and when my ID was in my wallet, I had to rub the wallet against the scanner, tilting it every which way in order to get it to finally beep, presumably due to the fact that the top of the wallet is not covered by the protection.

After careful consideration of several possible choices, I selected the Mutbak wallet. The deciding factors were design (I liked this one best), number of credit card slots (5 more than my previous wallet), apparent leather quality (looked likely to be the best of all the wallets I was considering), and apparent workmanship quality (equal to or better than all the others). Note that I used the word "apparent" more than once. This is because one can not be sure of certain attributes by reading the product description and looking at pictures (although they help) but the customer reviews helped to validate my impressions. So here is the punchline. I received my new wallet a few days ago and it is exactly what I was expecting. The leather is topnotch and the workmanship matches. The design and functionality are just as I saw on the product page. So, I am delighted. Notice that I have not said much about cost. I think this wallet was the most costly of the wallets I considered. But, in my view $34.99 is just not very much money for all the values that this wallet satisfies - at least for me. I think the least expensive wallet I had on my list was in the low teens. So you wallet costs 2 to 3 times as much as the least costly option I considered. As a percentage, the Mutbak is pricey. But the overall difference was only $20. I will likely have this wallet for the next 20 years and everytime I take it out of my pocket, I will notice the leather and how well it is made and how well it stores all things I keep in it. All for $20. In the end, this was an easy decision. There is one suggestion I can offer. I would have chosen brown over black had you had a uniformly-colored (not mottled like Memphis), deep, rich brown option (Durango and Moab were too light). All in all, this was a homerun purchase for me. I am out of the wallet market for a long, long time.

This is the wallet Ive been looking for. My new favorite leather wallet with the Bryker Hyde now being second. These two brands are the only ones I know that actually use ACTUAL FULL GRAIN leather at this price point. Alot of wallets say it, and its arrives from everything to top grain to cheap genuine. This is legit. I know leather and the quality here is high. Its thicker leather then the Hyde also. The Hyde has a different finish too. This is not only vegetable tanned but has a wax finish to help scratches wear away fast. Now it marks easier than the Hyde because of this but u can also remove them. A wax treated full grain leather is super soft. Almost gives it a nubuck feel but not look to give u an idea. The Hyde is also smooth but not as smooth. Finished differently but both very nice. The difference is that the last Hyde I had, had an issue. The glue from the seam immediately stuck to my card and that was it for it. Couldnt get my card out. Now ususly they have good quality but I figured it was a sign to try something else. And it was well worth it. Its capacity is great. The stitching is great. And quality is great. And its gorgeous imo. Attention to detail is great and my cards sit out high enough that they dont get lost in the pockets. I love the extra slots on the reverse side of the Id holder too. Brilliant idea. Its the type of wallet I would design if I was going to. The capacity is perfect and high for a wallet this size. The leather is the best youll find. The size is good and the design is perfect. Also on the one I got, the two tone coloring is awesome and something u cannot fine on wallets this price with full grain leather. TRUST ME. Ive looked everywhere and usually u have to spend $150 for that. Hyde doesnt even have it. Its also not too thick. Not thin either though. So if youre looking for a super minimalistic wallet, this isnt it. But its average. I have bought probably every wallet there is in the price range and I have OCD when it comes to researching. And I rarely right reviews. My point is I wouldnt say this if I wasnt sure. This is the best wallet Ive had and anything within $100 wont beat it. Should last forever and develop a nice patina because of the wax finishing. Really top notch.

Just what I was looking for. Convenient license sleeve and plenty of card slots, with ample room for actual cards. (Many wallets squeeze the credit cards - barely fitting in. A divided dollar pouch seems handy - for cash bills and those little notes or temporary business cards that I need to put somewhere. I havent had the wallet too long - so the durability is yet to be seen, but it appears well stitched and reasonably tough. Hence- the four star rating - durability and the test of time could make this a 5 star review.) Fits nicely into the rear back pocket of my jeans.(I also like the natural leather color. Although, that may not be any deciding factor for someone else.) I would recommend this as a good purchase.
