After using the same wallet for the last five years, I decided to forego the remaining years of its usefulness in favor of one with RFID protection. It wasnt an easy decision, as one tends to get attached to something theyve heavily used for so long, but after using this wallet from MUTBAK for nearly two weeks, I can confidently say that decision has definitely turned out to be a good one! As other reviews have already stated, this is clearly a very well made wallet, and when compared to my old one that still had a few years left in it, I wouldnt be surprised if this lasted me for a decade or longer. It has the perfect number of pockets (in my opinion), and while it is a little thick at first, its already flattened out a bit, and I would expect that itll get down to the width Id prefer in due time. The design is functional in ways which I didnt think to want before, but which I have come to appreciate a great deal. On top of all of that, the customer service is great, and it arrived much quicker than I had expected, so MUTBAK may have found a new loyal customer with this! UPDATE: I’ve now been using this wallet for over a year, and it continues to exceed my expectations! I fully expect it to last me at least a decade.

In my search for the perfect wallet, the Mutbak is the third wallet that I have purchased this month. The first one fit everything but was just too big - like a small pocketbook. The next was not too well-made and the seams split when I tried to muscle my credit cards into them. . The problem is that it is difficult to get an accurate picture of what you are actually buying. You depend on pictures, reviews, etc., but you cant really depend on them because it seems some people just like everything, and the pictures always look terrific. The third one, though, was the charm. I lucked-out and purchased this wallet, and I must say that I am impressed. This is a wallet of the highest quality: great materials and very well designed. It fits everything, and is not too fat when closed. You have to be realistic and realize that when you use every available nook and cranny, its not going to be super slim, but its thin enough. Throw in great customer service and a pleasant smell, and I think that you have a winner.

The main reason that I purchased this wallet was because it was almost identical with the one I have used for the past 20 years or so. Well, it turns out that it actually is better. It has more slots, is much better made,and looks really nice (if thats a consideration). It cost quite a bit more than many of the other wallets that I considered, but when the cost is amortized over 20 years or so, that difference is insignificant. I like this wallet and am happy that I purchased it.

Hated my present 5 year old wallet! Let me explain. Need a credit card or other card whether it be DD or whatever! Well where is the one I want? They are all stuck in old wallet- (some here - other there) one on top of another-- sometimes had to empty entire wallet and the one I needed was the last one out! Not so with this excellent wallet- each card slides into its own slot and top is visible. And the go to most ones are put behind the flip down license window flap.(nine slots in all) (yes-- much more room if you need more) Two money compartments work well-- I know what sum amount is where- no pulling out all bills to look through! Excellent craftsmanship and I like the smell! If you too find your old wallet unorganized-- then this is the one for you.

I waited a month to write a review concerning the wallet. The wallet had a new leather smell with a hint of tanning. It feels soft to the touch unlike bonded or man-made materials from wallets past. One of the pockets was tight from the stitching but loosened after a short while. The wallet is wider than the aging Tommy Hilfiger wallet that I replaced. However, because your cards are staggered it makes the wallet feel thinner. I do not feel like Im sitting on a deck of cards like my previous wallet. I was pleasantly surprised when Trevor, the founder of Mutbak, reached out to me to see what I thought of the wallet. He answered my emails promptly and I was completely satisfied with all interaction we had. The company appears to be a small company but they are striving hard to succeed.
