I could not be more pleased with this sweatshirt. I’m 6’ 5” tall (six foot five inches) and weight about 207. I ordered a Large Tall. I knew that the large would fit my shoulders but am always a bit skeptical about the word “tall”. My arms are long. I wear a 36-37 inch length in my dress shirts. I can’t begin to tell how pleased I was when this sweatshirt arrived. The arms are perfect. I like a loose fit in a sweatshirt and this puppy did the trick. The arms not tight and I don’t feel the need to tuck at them to keep them down to my wrist. They are perfect with plenty of give. And the body of the sweatshirt is also perfect. It plenty long for the tall torso. You will not be disappointed. If you’re a tall person (and I mean tall like me); then you will not be disappointed. While this may be going out on a limb, I would say the length of the sweatshirt arms would fit a tall person up to about 6’ 6” or even 6” 7” I’m a happy camper.

This sweatshirt fits really well. It is very well made. The metal zipper looks like it came off of a body bag for werewolves (its sturdy). The reason I took a star off is I feel like the price is a little too steep. Similar to Duluth Trading Co., these clothes are very well made but its like they try and push the price point just out of most peoples comfort zone: "Ok, sir how much would you pay for this sweatshirt?" (Thinking to self, $20 so that means I shouldnt sound like a cheapskate so maybe $30-$35) "Uh 40 ... dollars?" "Almost sir! I wish we could sell it for that! Nooooo. Were breaking even at the low, low price of $49.99!" The only other thing is the black is kind of a faded black. Like its been through the wash a dozen times and has started to fade. Im guessing thats to avoid that burnt car smell that a lot of other black clothes have (like black jeans) or perhaps thats entirely intentional. For $50 I want a BLACK sweatshirt, damn it. I did not take a star off for this though, since thats my personal qualm.

Ive tried four or five different types of hoodies, and this is the last one I will ever buy. Not only does it fit perfect for me (64"), but the quality is unmatched. The champion hoodie has a plastic zipper that breaks easily, whereas this Carhartt hoodie has an incredibly sturdy metal one. The Eddie Bauer hoodie is soft material with a metal zipper, but immediately starts pulling away from the seams and eventually gets holes at the seam points. This hoodie is built like a tank, and I cannot fathom it ever separating at a seam. Lastly, the material weight is perfect. Even though Im incredibly hot-blooded, Im able to wear this inside without sweating. Highly recommended!

I love it now that I have a 3x tall ibwill save this one for winter and now Ill be getting the 2x tall should fit great.

I am a Carhartt fan. Their clothes are always up to the challenge of my boys. So as soon as I saw this zip down jacket, I bought it for my husband. The size does run slightly large. The fabric is thick and warm. The zipper is heavy duty and definitely wont snap or break anytime soon. It washes very well with other clothes and the colors didnt run at all. It also went in the dryer with no problems. Nothing frayed at all. In fact, this jacket has been worn by my husband and myself, been used as a blanket for my son when he fell asleep on the couch and used as a cat bed when I wasnt paying attention. (The cat loves it too!) The jacket is longer than I expected. But very, very warm!
