I purchased this as a replacement to the one that I wear nearly daily during the wintertime in eastern, NC. My older one has been washed and worn hundreds of times. The sleeve elbows only now are starting to show evidence of age. I don’t remember what year I purchased it, but it’s many years old, and the material still looks better than this new one. The new pile has to be a savings in production costs. I’m sure TNF knows the difference. Everybody has to make a big bag with 9 chips in it these days I guess.

Im not sure what everyone else is receiving, but I purchased a 3X in black for my husband and it is exactly as I would expect from North Face. Have washed it already and its still like new. The fleece is thinner than some of their thicker ones, but this is perfect for him as we are not in a very cold climate.

This was way softer than I thought it would be. While it does not feel very heavy or thick, it actually kept me very warm even in temperatures that I was expecting to have to wear a bulkier, heavier jacket in. At the same time, I didnt get too hot in situations where it wasnt fridgid outside. It serves best as a windbreaker or stylish pullover for those times when you just dont think your huge puffer jacket that you can hardly move around in is necessary. One of my favorite things about this is how well it fits. I got a medium, and it felt a liiiiiittle more snug than most medium sizes, which was great. I didnt want this to be as baggy as a typical hoodie or something, and it wasnt. Its comfortable without looking slouchy. I had a great experience from the buyer as well. At first, I was disappointed to see it did not have the option of Prime shipping, and ordered it at the same time that I ordered a few items that did have Prime shipping. They all came on the same day, despite being shipped from different locations and with different shipping speeds. Its hard to guarantee that they will be so speedy all the time, but I had an A+ experience this go-around anyway. Im not crazy about how far down the zipper goes - it seems almost like its close to a 1/2 zip, but honestly the picture is fairly accurate. Thats just a personal preference. With it being a pullover, the large zipper does make it easier to get on and off, but I digress. And as with anything of this material, youre likely to notice little pieces of things getting stuck to it. Theres really no working around it, no matter who you buy from. Finding little pieces of lint is definitely worth having the super comfy material, though, in my opinion. Really, those are the only "negatives" I can think of, but those are just things to be aware of. Im still extremely satisfied with my purchase and Id recommend this to anyone.

Very cozy and warm. I ordered a size small, the sleeves are pretty big which is the only reason I am giving it a 4. Im 57 and 155 lbs (female) and is not as fitted as I had hoped. I probably would have ordered an XS if it were available as an option and Im sure it would have fit perfect then. No fault of the maker, just of whats available. Happy with the purchase.
