These are probably the most comfortable and best fitting shorts I have ever bought. Brands like Wrangler and Levi cant compare. I like the fact that they are not super long. I have short legs that other brands make me look like Im wearing culottes. Im well into my 60s and grew up wearing normal size shorts. But fashion changed in the early 90s when a group of college basketball players started wearing long shorts. This trend has now reached the point where even mens swim trunks look like culottes, even though any serious swimmer knows the less clothing the better.

Ive been wearing Carhartt jeans for work and play for years now but this is the first time that Ive bought Carhartt shorts. I mostly chose them because I have trouble findiing anything in my size (6, 300 lbs) at the stores, so I was forced to order my pants online. I bought the shorts in the same size I buy for my jeans, and they fit perfectly. The denim is a bit lighter weight than their regular jeans, so they feel a lot cooler when I switch into the shorts after work. The pockets and loops are great for garden work, they feel very well made, and Carhartt doesnt skimp on the belt loops like so many other brands do. The length is just right (just above the knees, as pictured) even with my large waist size. If I ever get around to losing some weight (yeah, right), Ill buy these shorts again.

Great shorts for the outdoor gardeners. The side pockets allow me to carry my hand pruners on one side and a landscaping knife and additional tools on the other side. Comfortable to wear. Holds up to everyday abuse.

I like these. Theyre not as dressy as khaki shorts, and they stand up against grime a lot better. The denim is much lighter, too, so theyre a pleasant summer weight. I find the carpenters pockets more amusing than helpful (theres a hammer loop and a deep pocket intended for a folding rule) and sometimes they catch on the cabinet knobs in the kitchen, but hey! Im a home handyman, right?

These fit as expected, I really do not like the way the front pockets are cut. I like a more rounded pocket opening as opposed to the angle cut of the pocket openings on these. Other than that they seem to be a little lighter weight than Levis so they breathe a little better. Functional and stylish. Priced fairly.
