I wanted to love these. They seemed durable and well made. The front pockets, like many Dickies pants and shorts, were oddly small and any person with normal sized hands would be frustrated with them. I carry a very small front pocket wallet and it was a chore to get in and out. Large phone? Forget it (although I expected that). I would also caution anyone with even remotely fit thighs, they are strangely binding in the hip-to-thigh area. Knowing Dickies, I ordered a size up but it still didnt fit right. At one size larger, the waist was a tad larger but even then the fit was odd and uncomfortable. Sadly, I had to return them due to their ill fit on me.

Ordered two jeans initially. One pair of 38 x 32 indigo blue that fit just right like all my other pants. Inseam was spot on. The other pair was blue rigid 38 x 32, and they were at least 38 x 34 or longer. Did not measure the inseam, but they were way too long. Exchanged them for 38 x 32 stone washed, and they were too long, but not as long as the the blue rigid. I did measure the inseam, and it was 33.5 inches which is too long for me. The waist on all three jeans were spot on. I ended up with one pair of jeans that fit just right, and the other two that are too long. All were made in Mexico, so I dont know whats going on with the inseam measurements being wrong. Mislabeled? Not sure, but I wont be buying this brand any longer because obviously the manufacturer has problems.

Im not sure exactly who these are made for. The crotch is obviously mens cut but the pockets and waist remind me of a female cut. Now Im not a large guy that is in denial of my weight. Im only 140lbs. I wear a 31x30, since nobody seems to make 31x29 or 31x28 which would be better. I can barely fit my hands into the pockets let alone anything else like my wallet, phone, etc. I just tried and Im left hoping I dont get an important phone call because it is a struggle to get the phone out. If these are a 31 waist then I am a monkeys uncle. The amount of space between crotch and top button is also very long, reminding me of jeans made for larger women. These are probably closer to a 29 than a 30. If the waist wasnt so horribly off and the pockets actually fit things in them, Id rather like these. These are smaller than any other 31x30 Ive ever worn. They are cheap jeans which is why I bought them, so if yours fit right then good on you. Really unfortunate that they were way too tight in the waist and pockets. Otherwise they are perfect and half the price of my Levis. Ill probably have to send them back and just grab a different brand of jeans from a store since my fall semester starts next week. Way too tight for prewashed jeans. Theyll only get tighter.

These are great jeans and for the price they last forever. I used to buy carhart jeans but the denim ones always ripped. I am a Fire Sprinkler Installer and crawl all over the place at times. One year later and I have all 5 pair of jeans I bought. Pros, great price, last a long time. Cons, front pockets are worthless. I can’t get either one of my hands in them. The back pockets are very deep. I mean very deep. I drop a pair of channel locks in the back pocket and it feels like it’s touching the back of my knees. Like I said I use a pouch at work for tools so I don’t care about about the pockets. If you want normal pockets don’t get these jeans. For the price these jeans are strong and I will be ordering more.

These are made from tough, rigid denim similar to whats on premium-priced shrink-to-fit jeans, but without the high price. It took 3-4 washes and a couple of days of wearing the jeans to get the fabric to soften up, but I consider that a good thing. It appears that itll be as durable as the best of other denim jeans, and its a nice fit - loose enough to be comfortable, without the baggy look that seems so prevalent today. It also took about four washes to get the denim to finish shrinking. I followed my usual protocol (wash in hot water separately, dry until slightly damp, wear until dry, then wash again in cold water, dry completely, and wear as normal), and they were still a bit looser than the final fit - a couple more cycles in the dryer brought them in just a bit more. This probably isnt a shrinking technique that the purists would use, but Im too busy to put a huge amount of time into getting my jeans shrunk just so. One caution: As with other brands of shrink-to-fit jeans, these ended up shrinking a little more in length than similarly-sized preshrunk jeans. I usually wear a 34 inseam in preshrunk jeans, and with these and other shrink-to-fit jeans I find that just a little too short, so I end up going to a 36. Having experienced this with various other brands, I wasnt terribly surprised, but if youre used to buying preshrunk jeans its a good thing to keep in mind.
