One pair of jeans arrived with labels and all packaging and in new condition. The second pair arrived in a plastic bag with no labels and the color was several shades lighter than the jeans should have been. When I opened the packet I saw that there was a 4 inch fray in the crotch area, several oil stains around the jeans, a large stain on one knee and obvious signs of being worn and washed multiple times. The fray in the crotch area is so bad that I could put several fingers through it. Negative reviews are not my norm but Im disgusted. Ive attached the photos so that everyone can see.

Really saddened by the lack of QC. Levis has REALLY gone downhill. Ive worn 501s since the 80s. Im old. They used to he heavy, thick denim. After a long period of wear, they would become thinner and feel old. Now, they are that way on the shelf. As for the two pair that I ordered, they were both shaped and sized differently than each other. Their fit was just not right. I have 6 pairs of 501s in my closet, from fairly new to very old and the fit is the same on each pair.

501s used to come so stiff due the thickness of the fabric you had to wash them 20 times to get them to loosen up so yer legs could bend. These showed up like Id already had em for a year. The waist is fine but I ordered a 36 inch inseam which is exactly what the rear hip label says. However, that isnt the case. The inseam seemed a little short as my other 36" inseam Levis are much longer...you guessed it...I measured the inseam...33 1/2". Now thats OK because theyll work with sneaks or boat shoes. but too short for boots. I realize what I got sent DID state they were the correct size. Id order another pair but I need to know Ill get the correct length. How do we make that happen? Im not convinced the Chinese care too much about accuracy here.

Quality is really bad. Material is way too light for Levi jeans, very disappointed Levi has gone this route to sell jeans. I have purchased Kirkland Jeans at Costco that are a heavier denim and would appear to be much more durable. I own some Levis that are 10-15 years old and these new ones made in Pakistan just dont stack up to the older ones. I am 64 years old and worn Levis since the 1960s and afraid Levi has lost a long time customer that appreciated quality and durability.

Ive been wearing Levis since I got out of diapers about 46 years ago. I have bought my last pair. The quality in the last few years has been terrible. These jeans now have a serious problem with belt loops just suddenly ripping off. My last five pairs (two just purchased in the last month) have done this. I even had a pair that I purchased directly from levis.com a few months ago that the loop ripped out of and when I went to repair it I found that it and one other loop had already been repaired once (I didnt notice the patches while I was wearing them, who looks inside there?). They must not have passed QC at the factory and were "fixed" before being sent out. Just last night I took off one of my new, less than a month old pairs and found a belt loop hanging off and the tell-tale hole. No more. When I contacted Levis Customer Serivce I was told that I could ship them back (at my expense) and if they decided that they could be repaired under warranty I would get them back in six to eight weeks.
