I am a long-time customer of Wrangler blue jeans. I purchased 4 pair from Amazon. They arrived in good time and were in new condition. The fit was more snug than previous purchases, but not sufficient to return them. However, after the first washing I noticed the top-stitching on the outside seems looked funny. Closer examination showed that the thread was already begining to fray. I retained the one pair that did not show fraying and returned the three that did. So far Amazon has refunded me for two pair. I will pursue the issue with Amazon for the third refund. I have read other reviews complaining of tighter that usual fit, so it isnt just me. All pairs showed Mexico assembly, even my old ones. Im not sure why the fit is different, but the thread fraying issue is clearly one of quality control. I will re-purchase more jeans but I will wait until I am sure the one pair I retained will remain serviceable.

PSA, if you usually wear Levi 517s youll need to buy the next larger waist size in these jeans. I have many pairs of jeans and slacks, many different brands, all 38" waist. This company must use a different tape measure. Im surprised so many people said these fit great but I guess they have done the trial and error thing and know what size to buy. Heh, I lost twelve pounds this year and still should have bought the larger size. I do like the looks (cut) and material. One more thing, I bought grey and they are black. (shrugs, shakes head) Good luck.

This is the only jeans to buy. They feel better , look better and last longer than any other jeans. The rigid 13mwz is the only way to go. Just buy the waist two inches bigger( I order 3 inches bigger as I like my jeans loose) and the inseam 2 inches longer. Before you wear them wash inside out hot 3 times then I wash them 3 times right side out warm or cold water. Tumble dry low ! The 13mwz fit at your waist where men are suppose to wear their pants and unlike other jeans makers have 7 belt loops instead of 5.

Its nice to see a quality pair of jeans made of American materials for such a decent price. I would even go as far to say thats the value of the jean surpasses the cost. They wearing in nicely and feel great after a month of wear in. I work construction and so my workwear takes a beating and made in Indonesia Levis dont cut it anymore. 10/10 for value. 9/10 for comfort. 9/10 for style. 10/10 for durability.

I bought these jeans in the hopes of having a raw denim experience. I bought these AND some Levis Shrink-To-Fits. The good: These things are indestructible. When I first wore them, I was almost concerned with how crunchy and cardboardy they felt. The fabric is tough. Conversely, my Levis felt similar but slightly thinner. Now my Levis have a hole in the back pocket. The fly is zipper and sturdy. Also, the jeans have been fading nicely. The bad: When I bought these I thought they were the kind of raw denim that shrinks. I ordered the legs 2" longer. After a soak in hot water they did not shrink. Later, after washing them at high temp, no shrinking. Not necessarily good or bad, but I know people are wondering about this. Next, the rise on these is damn high. The waist on these is designed to be around your belly button, which is fine if youre a 58 year old man with a flat stomach. I like wearing my jeans around my hips... the fit is not as good on me as the Levis are because of how I wear them. Pigment: When you first get these pants, the color is the perfect shade of dark indigo you could want. After a couple of washes the blue gets more blueberry. Final thoughts : for 20ish bucks these jeans will last forever. They dont look awful. If they sold these jeans with lower rise and a darker indigo dye, and possibly an unsanforized for the same price, I would buy nothing but these jeans. The broken twill will last forever.
