I am constantly working with wood and metal, so I needed a pair of pants that can hold up because a pair of jeans only last me about 2-3 weeks before they are shot. Not only do these well outlast jeans, they dont get nearly as dirty or grungy looking. I was drilling some holes in some wooden stakes last weekend when I slipped and ran the drill bit into my leg. The pants twisted up but did not tear, and there was only few threads got pulled out of the material. I literally put the drill down and went inside and ordered two more pairs. Had I been wearing jeans I know I would have run that bit into my thigh. These things are tough. I wear 31x32, Im 510 and 160lbs and these fit fantastic. Great Pants.

I am 65 years old and know what my waist size is. I have 2 pair of these size 34x36 that are a couple of years old and they fit great. On 2 different occasions I have again ordered these pants. The first time about a year ago neither the waist or length was anywhere close. However this time I ordered 2 34x36 and they were very consistent. The length was correct but the 34" waist was 31 1/2-32". I just cant believe that something can be so far off. So I am sending them back (free of charge) and ordering 36x36. I guess if the supplier and Amazon dont mind paying shipping in both directions, multiple times, who am I to argue.

Great quality, excellent stitching. Soft but sturdy material. You cant ask for more. Love them, I just wish they added cargo pockets, but even now its the best work pants Ive had. I compered them to Wranglers , and as you can see on the picture, Wranglers of the same size one inch shorter( Wranglers are of very poor quality as well as sizing isnt true) . So I would definitely recommend to buy Carhartt. Very nice pockets as well.

I own several different styles of Carhartt pants and they all have one thing in common, they need to be sized up one size from what you normally wear in other brands. At least they are consistently off. One item that is inconsistent is the cell phone pocket size. I purchased five Carhartt Mens Relaxed-Fit Washed Twill Dungaree Pants and of the five, only three of the cell phone pockets will accommodate my Motorola phone outfitted with an Otter Box cover. The other two pair of pants would not fit the phone for fear of ripping the seams. These are great looking pants, comfortable and seem to wear well. Had the cell phone pockets all fit my phone, I would have rated these five stars.

Honestly, they fit how they say they should -- slim. However, Im a real thin guy & they were just way tight on me. Hard to bend over to work low to ground,ect... Getting a more relaxed fit Im sure is more comfortable. The fabric is great for comfort & the design utility of all the various pockets is nice for storing tools & other items on the go. However, material of fabric would get shredded up super quick. I run my own landscaping company & these wouldnt last long. They are built for someone running general errands, or meeting with customers for estimates. Not actual grueling work. Get SANDED DUCK material in Carhartt if actual WORK is what youre buying pants for.
