I am very pleased with my purchase. I ordered these to wear on a beach vacation. I was a little worried about the size and the length after reading some of the reviews but they are perfect. I usually wear pants in a size 38-40 waist and a 29 inseam. I ordered these in the 1xB with a 30 inch inseam and they were perfect! The waist fit great especially with the drawstring option and the length worked well with wearing dock-siders/boat shoes. Instead of machine washing them I would recommend having them dry cleaned. If you know anything about clothing material you should know that machine washing linen will cause it to shrink. Spend the extra money to have them dry cleaned and they will fit perfectly time after time!

These fit perfect until they are washed . I washed them in Cold water and Line Dried and they shrunk up 3 inches in length ! Now They are completely useless ! Also , after washing once , the stitching in the zipper fly area has unraveled since it was not stitched correctly . Skip these pants . Try some that are Pre-Shrunk !

I love them! Im a woman who bought them because the womens versions either have no side pockets or tiny pockets. I wear a size 10 and usually get jeans in a 32" waist size. 32" in these trousers worked just perfectly for me -- a relaxed, comfortable fit, great for traveling. Because of the extreme shrinkage a few reviews reported, I immediately machine-washed them in cold water then dried them outside on a clothesline. There was at the very most 1/2" shrinkage in length, not noticeable at all. I highly recommend these trousers.

I bought these pants for an upcoming Caribbean cruise. I was a little apprehensive because some of the reviews brought up issues with them shrinking too much but with proper "break in", I didnt have any issues. Being linen, one should expect some shrinkage an the first wash and these pants are no exception. Heres the deal; order them understanding you will need time to wash, hang dry and iron them before you wear them. I normally wear a 36X30 pants so I ordered the XLX32. As soon as they arrived, I washed them in cold water with a cold rinse then hung them from the waistband and let them dry in my closet for a couple of days. They fit almost perfect! The waist is still a little larger than I would like in order to call them actually perfect but with the drawstring, theyre close enough. The legs fit is amazing though. I gave them 5 stars vs 4 stars because the waist fit was my gamble and not due to an issue with the quality of the pants and they were exactly what I wanted and exactly what I expected. If youre a lose 36 waist, you may want to consider the L vs the XL. Most definitely though, try to order 2 inches taller in the inseam than what you normally wear. They WILL shrink. DO NOT PUT THESE IN THE DRYER... EVER!!!! Highly recommended for those hot summer days on the beach or by the pool.

I purchased these for an island vacation to wear when going out to dinner at the resort. They fit as advertised and were actually very comfortable. The quality was higher than I had anticipated. Now that I am back from vacation I still wear them regularly around the house as pajamas.
