This is my second pair of Savane cotton chino pants. They fit exactly as expected, they are quite comfortable, even when doing light physical activity (running, gardening, biking, etc.), and they also look nice enough to wear to church or almost anything short of something that calls for an actual suit. And they seem a good deal more durable than moist other brands of cotton chinos.

I loved the way these pants fit, so it was extremely disappointing that a hole formed in the seat of the pants in the middle of the pocket after just three or four wearings. I didnt have anything in the pocket and only sat in my car and my desk chair at work, as well as on the couch at home. No hard surfaces and no unusual conditions. The pants showed wear in that spot after the first time I wore them and a 1/4-inch wide hole formed in that spot after a few more uses. I didnt abuse them in any way, it was just normal use. I didnt catch them on anything and I have an agitator-free washing machine, so I cant blame it on the washer (and I followed washing instructions). I also got a black pair of the same pants at the same time. So far those are holding up after the same amount of wear, but the khakis are ready for the garbage.

I dont like the current price (nearly $80), and dont feel it gives value at that price. When they were ~$40, these were a great pair for a big guy losing weight. Buy small, lose 30 pounds, go down to the next range of size. This worked because the pants, while comfortable and sized appropriately, only last about a year with weekly washings. Ill pay $40 for 4-5 pair a year, but NOT twice that. My next purchase will be from another manufacturer.

Solid pair of pants for casual work or play. Fit well, and size was on target. I have been wearing Savane slacks for almost 20 years. Wear well and are comfortable. High recommendation.

Great material for chinos; light but not too light. The comfort waist is fantastic. I see no reason to buy any other pants for most occasions. Dressy enough for office or a sport coat; casual enough for kids soccer games. I own several.
