I’ve been purchasing the same black wrangler cargo pants for over 15 years from various stores because I need them for my job and I have to say, over the last couple of years I’ve really noticed a drop off in quality. The first day I used these the zipper broke. I decided to just chalk it up to being defective and went down to my local Target and bought another pair of the same. After washing it and putting them on to go to work the left cargo pocket seams completely ripped off while I was putting my wallet inside. I don’t have larger than normal hands so it’s not like I was forcing anything in. For whatever reason the stitching was poorly done. I checked the right side cargo pocket and noticed how poor the quality of the seams were on that side also. Luckily I was able to return them that night. Wrangler has always been my go to brand for work pants because the fit and price was always good but I think now I’m gonna have to try something else. Unfortunately Dickies cargo pants are just a little too stiff for me, but for anyone debating whether to get Wrangler or Dickies, I will say Dickies is probably the better bet at this point.

I wish I had read the one-star review prior to purchase. I had also noticed a change in the fabric and smell of these pants when new. Now in 2019 I purchased the same navy blue pants and placed my keys in the left-hand regular pocket and my keys hit the floor???? Big hole in the pocket where the seam was not sewed....and this was right out of the package!!!! I agree with the Bangladesh (mine were from Bangladesh) vs. the Guatemala pants of the same type, and I used to get them from Walmart as well, but on my last visits they did not have my size in stock. Also noticed the lack of a Wrangler label on the cargo pocket like my older pants. Could return the pants, but not worth the time, and besides, why order from the same distributor and suffer another flawed product. I will pull out my emergency sewing kit ant try to fix the problem. FOLKS, THESE ARE REALLY CHEAPER, POORLY MADE PANTS! Caveat Emptor!

I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 175 pounds.i was looking for a comfortable fit - thats the point of buying cargo pants for me. This one gave me the right level of comfort fit without feeling too loose or tight. I bought these to use as shopping pants to run errands for the home, and they serve that purpose admirably. My wife loves the colour and the fit so thats a big tick. The side pockets are big and roomy, and there is a surprise. There are slit pockets hiding behind the side pockets, ideal for if you want to carry your phone or wallets and not have to raise a flap to retrieve. A total of 8 pockets then, not 6, so thats fantastic. A gripe would be that there is no ticket or key pocket. All cargo pants should have this import from jeans.

While I have some complaints, these pants are just too useful to downgrade my rating by a star. I wish more companies would implement similar "tech pockets" allowing quick access to cell phones. Unfortunately, the material is extremely prone to wrinkling, and the cargo pocket flaps have square corners that have a tendency to curl up in an unsightly way. Wrangler had another version of this pant with better material and truncated cargo pocket flaps (angled corners) that didnt have this issue, although it only had a single tech pocket. The tech pockets are large enough to comfortably accommodate my iPhone 6s with an Otterbox and my 5.5"-screen Android phone with a minimal TPU case. They could probably also handle a 5.5" phone with a more robust case, but something like a Note in a case might be a bridge too far. Note that the Olive Drab is a *very* muted green color, to the extent that its difficult to discern it from gray, which to me is a good thing.

After asking Amazon users if these pants shrank when washed and getting lots of "Nope they stay true" I bought a pair. They may not shrink but they sure run contrary to size on the inseam. I bought 34 30. After wearing them for a couple of days and noticing that when I sit they rise up higher up my calf than my jeans from Wrangler I measured the inseams of both legs. Right was 29 and the left was 29 1/2. The waist is true. I would be tempted to buy a 31 inseam pant but Im afraid these might come a perfect 31 or some other strange length. On second thought I may get another pair like a 31 and if they run actually 31 just get them altered. Other than that...good buy.
