So strange. This was a repurchase for me. I bought these Wrangler Relaxed fit Cargo Pants in Anthracite a year ago, and loved them so much I bought again. Theyre incredible fit, quality, construction. However, this time, I got them out of the box and said to my wife, these look green with only a gray tint. Sure enough, did not wear them, washed them in cold water with laundry soap only as soon as I got them, and theyre straight up OD Green. Not kidding. My feeling is these were green, then the company tried to dye them gray, seriously. After inspection, I even see on the underside of a pocket where there is what seems to be a dye marking. Again though, if you can just get the color youre under the impression of buying, its a 5 star purchase. Incredible pant.

Let me start by saying I like "cargo pants." These fit me perfectly - they were not over-sized or under-sized. I have a fairly new car - four weeks old - that has the key-less start and entry. I carry the key fob in one of the pockets and fasten it securely. This way it is out of the way and doesnt get mangled with other coins and keys, etc. Too, the material seems soft and comfortable, unlike the newer Levi jeans I recently bought that have a stretchable denim or whatever material they call it - and I dont like. The Levi pants have 5 belt loops whereas the Wranglers have 7 for better support. I recommend these pants and plan to buy another pair.

These pants are quite comfortable, and the fit is good. Might be a little large in the waist - theyre certainly not tight, but in general, I like the way they fit. The only real drawback to me is the lower cargo pockets. Theyre too small to comfortably carry an iPhone 8+. It barely fits, and the pocket is right at the knee joint, so carrying anything like a cell phone in those pockets cause a loss of flexibility in the knee. the upper cargo pockets are way to small for most anything except maybe a pocket knife, or pocket watch, and the pockets on the left are different (smaller) then the one on the right. The main pockets are nice and deep, These pants lose a little utility due to the arrangement of the cargo pockets, but overall, I like them. If youre looking for a little more utility from the cargo pockets, Id recommend the Riggs Workwear Cargo Pants from Wrangler. Theyre a little heavier fabric, but also a good fit, with roomier pockets.

On the whole, these pants are a great value. They are well made, fit as expected, arrived timely, and were packaged adequately. When I asked him, my husband reported "4 stars. For what they are, these are a great value. I just wish they held up longer, but they are a lot better than denim." I would rate them 5 stars. As far as "holding up,longer"... I think they hold up quite well and consider it a miracle that they last as long as they do. He farms, does minor mechanics, and construction work and is VERY hard on these pants. When he buys pants made of heavier material, they end up in the back of the closet (unworn) because theyre uncomfortable and he doesnt wear them. The wrangler cargos wash well, clean up well, and he wears them; theyre comfortable and functional. Hes been wearing this same wrangler cargo pant since at least 2003.

Very comfortable, lots a pockets. Rides a bit low for my taste. 42" waist appears to be exactly the same size as 40" Wranglers I bought several years ago; I held the waistband of the old pair I was discarding against the waistband of the new pair to confirm that I wasnt imagining that (a friend has said hes had the same issue with a new 34" vs an old 32"). What is up with that? I thought one of the big advantages of mens sizing was being in actual inches, rather than the "guess how big size 16 is in THIS brand" of womens sizing. It would be nice if these came in more colors; even nicer if they came tailored for women (some of us like pants that dont stop mid-calf, have lots of pockets, and are 100% natural fiber; the 2% spandex in nearly all pants made for plus-size women feels like burlap to those of us with delicate skin). The fabric of these pants is tender-skin friendly.
