Great shirts and its about all I wear. I liked the light duty shirt but it lagged a little too much with all the junk I carry so these are it. Summer and long sleeves in the fall and winter. Ive been a customer since I was a kid. The offshore waters here in the northeast are unforgiving most of the time so I wear their stuff on the outside too. On these,no ripped off pockets or torn armpits,they wash well and you cant beat them for comfort. Ive got cigar burn holes in them and the holes dont stretch out. The little burnholes are still little burn holes when they com out of the wash,good stuff and this is a great deal.

Love these shirts. They wash up well, dont shrink, the neck stays tight. Sure, they are pricier than other tshirts, but well worth the extra money. Others will be long relegated to the rag bag or sleep shirts for your family and these will still be going strong. Bite the bullet and order a few. You wont regret it. I ordered several of these and the Dickies. Very close. These were cut about an inch longer. Other than that, they were virtually identical. The length made the difference for me. Dickies went back and I ordered more Carhartts. But, be advised, they are a heavier material than most. Too heavy to be worn as an undershirt.

My husband is 6 3" and 300+ lbs. He requires a shirt with a pocket, a long torso to tuck in and one that doesnt stretch out or lose its shape. He is very happy with these shirts. He isnt a fan of advertising a brand name but is impressed with the quality.

The sizes are unlike any other manufacturer Ive purchased from. These shirts dont just run large, mine seemed to be SEVERAL sizes larger than what was indicated on the label. Despite being "regular fit" this thing fits like a tarp, and the length goes all the way past my knees, its ridiculous. This shirt is so oversized its laughably bad. Not only does it look terrible, but it would be impossible/dangerous to work in because the loose, draping fabric is just begging to get caught on anything and everything. Ive loved Carhartt stuff for years, but something is has gone seriously wrong with their design and manufacturing. I wont buy this brand ever again.

Carhartt gear is typically top notch but the sizing was WAY off and the material was uncomfortable. Im 65" 260# normally wearing XL shirts and their XL Tall fit like a giant potato sack that hung halfway down my thigh. Supposed to be loose and long, but with this being one of their smaller Tall fit shirts I can only imagine the 3XT is essentially a queen size bed sheet. Decided to run it through an extra hot wash for a little shrinkage and give it a go. Helped a little but not enough to not make me look like a little kid wearing my dads old T. Wore it while doing an outdoor project and after 10 minutes of sweating the shirt became gritty and incredibly uncomfortable. Made for a mediocre towel the rest of the day as I opted to go shirtless instead. Only slight positive i can think of is the material is thick enough to keep you warm. It retained water very well and weighed ~5 lbs by the end of the day.
