Lets start with the reason I bought these here. I was shopping at my local big box store for a pack of black undershirts. I was shopping for these specifically, but they only came in mixed packs (grey+black). When I accepted that I noticed the price, outrageous. I quickly pulled up Amazon and realized they were a third of the price shipped. Being the thrifty/realistic person I am I went ahead and ordered 3 packs. Same quality and three times the amount of undershirts. Either order your size or even a size up since they fit snug in a good way. Not something Id ever wear in public without a shirt on, but they fit/feel great. Order a pack and enjoy. Remember the grey goes under light colors and black goes under mid-dark colors.

These fit and feel great however, poor quality. Ive had two of them rip at the should strap already. One in the wash after wearing it once. The second one while wearing it the second time. These came in a Hanes package but far from Hanes quality. Extremely disappointed.

Ill make it short. Everyone else is right. I received what I ordered it is just really bad. Thank God for the free return. The shoulder stitching is ugly and weird. The shoulder strap part is way too thin as well its like a string is hanging over your shoulder. Picture is of this item on the left and the fruit of the loom premium a shirt on the right. The fruit of the looms shoulder doesnt have stitching like that on the shoulder part. This shirt is soft tho but idk why u would want this

Not As Described: The product description distinctly states Hanes Mens 4-Pack Assorted A-Shirt Color: Black/Grey. There are two black A-shirts and two grey A-shirts shown in the product photo, . Both of the packages that arrived contain 4 Grey A-shirts. Ive now noticed a number of other reviewers state that they did not receive the correct colors either. Either, the packaging description is incorrect as the package states "Assorted Colors" or what was put into the sealed package from the manufacturer is incorrect. Now to the fit: The arm holes are enormous. The lower part of the arm hole comes down to the midriff and the armholes are cut very wide. It makes the back almost like a racerback and the front openings are barely wider. While the description states that these shirts are long, they are about 8" to 12" too long if you are a short to medium height. The fit of the width seems to be correct. Quality: The material itself seems to be of good quality for the price; however, the construction is just okay. Theres an open loop serger type seam on the shoulders that doesnt appear finished with a knot or double seam end and the thread loops extend past the material. I can only imagine that trimming the excess seam thread would create unraveling when washed. The bottom seam is folded over and causes a lumpy appearance. These are not the same quality as Hanes A-shirts that Ive purchased in stores in the past. I wonder if these particular shirts are overruns or irregulars. Smell: Very strong smell of pesticide or formaldehyde. I know many fabrics are treated with chemicals, but I also know many people wear clothing items prior to washing. If you decide to keep this product, be sure to wash before wearing. Disappointing to say the least. I will be returning the product.

Many others have commented about the excess threads at the shoulders. I bought them anyway thinking I could live with it. When I got the shirts, I saw what everybody was talking about - the thread tape on each side of the shoulder seam extends at least a 1/4 past the end of the seam on every shirt. The thread and tape are long enough to make wearing the shirt uncomfortable. So far, Ive thrown 3 shirts away without even wearing them - the shoulder seams came apart as I was putting them on. Had to take one off, put another one on, that came undone, took it off, put a third one on, took that off, and put a fourth one on. So, of the 6 shirts I bought, Im only able to wear 3 of them. (I hope. I havent put the last two on yet.) Horrible quality and comfort. Much too expensive considering youre going to throw away at least 3 of the 6 you buy.
