Worn once, for all I know it will fall apart, second wash. HOWEVER, I very much like this T shirt. I am six foot, 165, skinny and strong. A medium fits me perfectly, not tight, not loose. For eight bucks total? Give this shirt a try. You can buy four for the same price as one Nike or UA wicking shirt. EDITED after receiving additional shirts..... Ive lowered my rating from five to four stars. My first shirt was "vintage heather navy", and appears to be a slightly better quality material than the two colors which I ordered subsequently. And given what appears to be a slightly thinner product, the medium is just slightly too tight on my mature chest. Still a bargain, but Ill be careful about how and where I wear them. If youre a slim college kid with big guns, get this shirt.

So far these T shirts fit almost like the original over 10 year old shirts with no rips or tears. I looked up Russel Athletic and found that they were still in business. Two things really piss me off though. My original shirts that last forever are made in USA. Their add eludes that the shirts are still USA. It pisses me off that their shirts are no longer made in the USA. It sickens me that a manufacturer formerly of the USA who produce A # 1 quality garments! This defies the fact that US does not make quality goods! Shame on you Rusell Athletics- Shame on you! Greed took over. You make more$$$$ but you put people out of work! Evan

Like many of the reviews here say these T-shirts are not what they used to be. Maybe its just the wrong style but overall I am not pleased with the purchase. I have worn the Russell athletic Ts for many, many years because of their heavy duty material that always held up to the hard work I do. These shirts are just like the all too common cheap synthetic feeling stretch cotton that you find at bargain stores. They are very thin, not like they used to be. Sweat in it once and its time to change your shirt because you are soaked. I wore the grey one once and developed holes in the front from just one day of normal wear. When it comes to a work/workout shirt I have never minded sacrificing comfort for functionality and while the Russel athletic Ts of the past were not uncomfortable I could care less about how super soft the shirts were. These feel flimsy because they are. I almost wondered if these were counterfeits.

The quality was ok for my needs. The sizing however was WAY off. Instead of being a 4X they were more like a XL. I kept checking the size to make sure I had ordered correctly. I held them up to a 3X that had been washed several times and the 3X was approx. 1.5" bigger on each side. Had I not already removed the tags I would have returned them, instead I will pass them on to someone else.

I purchase Wick Away T-Shirts for everything but especially to work out in. Since it has a high cotton content, it does not do a good job of wicking away moisture, so I dont normally wear it to work out, with some exceptions. However, I do like the warmth, fit and comfort - so 5 stars. It runs a bit long which is good for me since I am long waisted. For a short waisted person, that might be a problem. I do like the shirt and I am purchasing a second one just as soon as I hit "Submit" on this review.
