I really wanted to like this shirt. It is stitched together to facilitate appearance in the package and removing those threads was a little tenuous without damaging the shirt. After washing and drying I noted that the collar did not lay appropriately. I tried to get it to have a proper crease in the collar with limited luck. I also noted that there were creases left in the shirt from packaging. Ill have to take it to the dry cleaners and see if it can be pressed properly. the color and style is great. If the dry cleaners doesnt work then it only deserves one star.

I am a simple man; I tend to like a simple black button up shirt to wear most days of the week with just enough variation so people dont think Im wearing the same shirt everyday. This fits my grown-up-but-emo-as-a-teenager self perfectly. It has different material than most but isnt hot, it has Cuban-type look without the weird collar or top button, and it fits like all other Van Heusen button downs (a little big), which is what I was counting on. I would definitely recommend it. One thing I should mention is that the black material is somewhat reflective and can look like it has a dark green tint in some artificial lighting (like the overhead bar lights in my office), but not in daylight. Not a big deal though.

I have two other colors of this same shirt that I bought at a department store and this shirt is about 2 inches shorter than the others.

Very nice summer shirt. I love rayon and this fits well. The tail is shorter than some shirts so you dont need to tuck it in. The Green is very dark, almost black in low light, but I hate bright lime green, so this is fine.
