I have been walking on the road for a few years now. I keep track of how many miles I get out of a shoe, before it needs replaced. These shoes, were my lowest mileage shoes ever! (by 97 miles!) These only lasted a total of 53 miles. Those miles, are gentle, walking on paved roads, in dry weather, always with Darn Tough socks, and alternating shoes every day, so they are never worn on consecutive days. I ended up wearing a small hole in the body of the Right shoe, around the Achilles tendon area. First time I have ever done that. Extremely uncomfortable to walk in after that, and I ended up having to call for a ride home today. The shoes I was alternating with these, were a pair of Sketchers I received as a gift. The memory foam soles were not only more comfortable, they are still going. They were so much more comfortable, that I always ended up scheduling my long mileage days, on the days I was due to wear the Sketchers. They currently have almost 100 miles, and still appear brand new. (These Asics, except for the small hole, also appear new. The exterior held up great) Be careful if you buy these shoes, the quality just isnt there. The worn hole is in a pretty bad spot for pictures, but I did my best in attaching a couple images showing it. This was my first, and last Asics purchase, Ever.

Not as comfortable as my older ASICS. Dont really feel like there is any cushioning. Hurt my feet for a week before I got used to them though I was walking 11 miles a day in them to break them in. The pain was unreal. I dont know why I kept wearing hem. I got sole inserts and that elevates the pain 10 to a 3. Now they are tolerable. I dont wear them often and wont purchase again. Never really had a bad experience on Amazon but these shoes are terrible.

Ive just purchased my second pair of these sneakers. Ive had my first pair for about 6 months now. They held up well considering I walk my dog about a mile-and-a-half daily. They were comfortable and they felt as though they were providing good support. They fit as expected at size 11 too. The build quality was adequate as the stitching was solid and there was only the occasional spot of glue (used to hold the sole onto the bottom of the shoe) visible. When compared to a walk in shoe shop, buying shoes online can be a bit tricky. Im glad that, as consumers, we can make it less of a gamble for one another with these product review systems. With that said, what drew me back to this sneaker was its relatively low price, decent quality, and good fit. Ive had my second pair for a little over a week and they are of similar quality and comfort level as the first.

Over 20 years of running and this is my first pair of Asics. My biggest complaint about these shoes is that they give me blisters on the outside of my arches, close to the balls of my feet. Blisters are in the same spot on both feet and I get them every time I run more than 3 miles. Ive had the shoes for a few months now and thought Id just get used to them but nope...blisters after every run. Ive never had this problem with any other shoe. Ive had a few pairs of Nike and Brooks but I almost always go with Saucony. Bought these because the price. Just shows you get what you pay for. Ive only had one or two other running shoes in my lifetime ever give me blisters and they usually only happened once or twice and that was it. They other problem I have is that the cushion on these is very thin. I pulled out the original inserts and replaced them with some New Balance arch support which greatly helped. Still got the blisters though in the same spots on both feet. Blisters come from rubbing up on the side wall close to the inserts. Really bad shoes for my feet. Ordered a pair of Sauconys the other day. Going back to what has treated me well for 20 years.

I will start this review by saying that I absolutely love these shoes. I don’t know what it is but the fit and feel on my feet is absolutely perfect. I’ve hiked, ran, and walked almost 1000 miles in the last 12~ months I’ve owned these and was always surprised with how comfortable my feet were. With that being said, they are starting to show their age. The sole is beginning to peel away in some parts and the interior fabric behind the ankle ripped and now foam is protruding and falling out. I went ahead and rebought another pair because I love them so much but I wish the build quality was slightly better. I’ve had other shoes (albeit less comfortable) that have lasted longer without issue
